NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

We don't need an RNS - we can see the wall! It's just a question of how hard we'll hit it (or may be we already have) as to whether there is anything to be salvaged from the wreck. NML may not be dead, but it's probably wise to make sure the priest is not planning a trip abroad.

Well the way I am looking at NML is that I have lost everything and if anything comes out of the hat I will be happy. Luckily other stocks have more than made up for this loss. I basically put NML down to experience and hope that something maybe salvaged yet.

Best way to look at it IMO, anything now is a bonus, and I am more optimistic than most that NML will survive in one shape or form, probably as Anom suggests, with a news name, and maybe on a different exchange.

If the reverse takeover occurs on AIM, then NML will be replaced by Kassai, presumably, and the old regime will be forgotten by some, and then it begins again from the exploration stage.

I agree - NML is down at zero value in my books, but you never know what might come of it. As you say there are others that make up for it, but I still don't have your killer instinct for when to sell. My new year resolution is to be better at exit strategies. Was it John Templeton who said he'd made a fortune by selling too early!

Hmmm my 'killer instincts of when to sell didn't work on NML did they? Being too greedy as this always was a stock that could have made a fortune or lost me everything in NML.....at the mo it ain't looking like making me a fortune. Maybe we should have all gone out for that dinner and got drunk...it would have been more fun.
I have still been here...but what has there been to say except aaaaaaaaaaarg and sorry for telling you about this stock SD...still I think you have GFM and KMR hopefully they make up for it.

I think GFM and KMR look strong, certainly stocks to hold at current levels IMO, KMR should increase as production nears, but nothing's a certainty in this game.

True Di, you did mention NML to me, but no regrets, it was my decision. Alos KMR doing well with further to go according to RHPS who's targeting 75p - not unlikley when they start production this October. Never went for GFM, so no comment ont hat one.

When SH turns into a fat lady and sings, it will be over - until then we no nothing, takahe. What extension, reported where?

stockdog..it is not reported, because they can't report just now (see the post from Fugu that I put here). I had it confirmed from the LSE AIM team...Mr. Philip Caine..and from NML's PR dept..lol..

OFEX looks their only option if they fail with a new NOMAD.

The problem with OFEX is it's an illiquid market, and selling can be hard, as they plunge the prices down if selling occurs.

I only buy OFEX stocks that are due to list on AIM for that reason.

LOL...Anom has been on to the AIM authorities to tell them they are wrong about the dates! (or so he says on ADVFN)

What I would like to know is...what the heck do their advisers do? They are supposed to kep everything right in regulatory terms..

That's the problem - the advisors resigned. In my experience, however difficult a client may be, advisors try to hang on and only eventually resign when clients repeatedly ignore their advice often to the advisor's perceived possible detriment, or if large fees remain unpaid.

In the end an advisor is only as good as their brief. I don't see the advisors in question resigning or being fired in droves from/by their other clients. So I assume the problem is with the specific client, not the advisor. Which leaves me unsurprised they cannot find a replacement advisor.

Pursuant to Rule 34 of the AIM Rules, the London Stock Exchange will cancel the
Company's admission to AIM with effect from 7.00am on Friday 10 February 2006.

The Directors of the Company are exploring a number of options to protect the
Company's shareholders' interests. It is envisaged that in the short to medium
term the Company will seek a listing on an appropriate market, in particular the
Board is considering Ofex. In the management's view, Ofex could provide an
appropriate framework within which the Company can operate successfully and
economically.

The Company is pleased to confirm that it is in advanced stages of negotiations
to acquire up to three kimberlite bearing concession areas in the diamond rich
Lunda Sul region of Angola.

The concession areas lie within a 50 mile radius of the Saurimo region which
currently accounts for some 75% of diamond production in Angola. Within this
area is situated Catoca, the third largest diamond mine in the world as well as
the Company's existing concession at Rio Lapi and also includes Petra Diamonds
and Xceldiam amongst others.

In the Company's opinion, the three Lunda Sul licenses represent a significantly
better opportunity than the licenses available through Kassai, not the least of
which is proximity to the Company's Rio Lapi C9 concession where the Company's
substantial, wholly owned, diamond mining plant is located. Consequently, the
Company has withdrawn from further negotiations with Kassai.

Shane Healy, managing director of New Millennium Resources Limited, commented:

"We are extremely excited by the new opportunities that have emerged
and believe it is in the Company's best interest to pursue these over
Kassai. We likewise believe it is a prudent time to formalize the
business's acquisition targets and to restructure the business
accordingly prior to re-listing the Company on a junior public market."

In the management's view, Ofex provides the most appropriate framework for the
Company to operate within.

Shane Healy added:

"We would like to thank shareholders for their continued support and to
confirm that any further fund raising will be offered to existing
shareholders through a rights issue in recognition of their ongoing
loyalty."

Mr. Healy is in Angola at present finalizing negotiations for the new
acquisitions mentioned. The Company anticipates updating shareholders on
developments within the business -including the expansion of the board to
include an experienced geologist and senior mining executive - within the
next four weeks.

I've always said that 3 kimberlites (de-listed) were better than one alluvial (listed).

We shall see. Is Ofex freely tradeable on line or do you need to go through specialist brokers or is it matched bargains only? Advice welcome. Thanks.
