Alan,
Glad you intend to ignore Aldwick as I am sure most of us do.
These threads are for the subject matter of shares, they are not a spelling or grammar thread.
I would sooner read a post with every word spelled wrong that contained good subject matter that read one of perfect English that contained drivel.
Thank goodness for a computer spell checker (I'm dyslexic).
Carry on Alan. I was was going to put regardless but it sounded too much like a film title.

Alan it will probably be Monday before I get any info. but I understand that the contact works for ASDA in central London and in her position would be aware of Greenseal and would certainly deal with Hitchen so let's hope we can get some feedback from the shop floor.Y'all have a good weekend.

And you, Pad.
My contact at Asda works at head office in Leeds, and his responsibilty is almost exclusively fresh produce, so i will pump him vigorously at cricket, tomorrow.
He is a sly old fish though and much of what I might learn will be by listening to the spaces around the words he actually says, if you catch my drift.

Whilst at lunch, talking drivel over pub lunch..................
I've been told that there is to be a launch for starpol 3000 in next month.
This aquaintance works in the plastics business and was not very forthcoming when 'pumped' (love the phrase-thanks alan). As I understand it, is'nt s'pol 3000 still awaiting fda approval? has anyone heard similar or can verify the situation regards fda. all have a good weekend.

Tweenie, still awaiting FDA approval as far as I know, although this is granted by default but still should have been worthy of an RNS.

Tweenie,
Starpol 3000 was announced in the Annual results I believe. I posted a few days ago the worst case we should get FDA approval by early September if we count down 120 days from results.
I've basically drawn that conclusion from the Starpol 200 scenario. It took 125 days from announcement of waiting for FDA approval to actually getting it.

Garbyle "within weeks "(AGM statement) isn't within 120 days in my view, but does follow SEO's habit of underestimating timescales.

Allan,
' i will pump him vigorously at cricket, tomorrow ' I think you will find it is only legal if you are both consenting adults and it is done in private.

Cheers all.
So maybe he was along the right lines......... could be an interesting month ahead.
Aldwickk... I'd buy you an alcopop, but you'd probably hit me over the head with it and nick my wallet.

Mad Pad,
I believe the AGM was on 2nd May, that is approx. 14 weeks ago, 3.5 months. We're all well aware of the SEO alternate dimension. I'd think it is a safe bet to conclude that FDA approval will be announced within the next 4 weeks.
YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!

From AGM Statement 2nd May:-
'As announced on 14 February 2006, Starpol 2000 now has the
relevant US FDA approval, along with its European equivalent. Starpol 3000 is
expected to be confirmed as fully compliant under the same regulation and we
expect approval in turn for this within weeks - as with another of our products
Starpol Wrap which is an ideal product to replace waxed paper for burger wrap
and other deli counter applications.'
Approval 'within weeks' - I dont think it is documented anywhere when the application was filed. If we take the 2nd May we're now up to 101 days - assuming it was before the 2nd May, we should get the good news any time now - wait for the leak followed a few days later with the RNS!

Early September is the timescale I have heard mooted for the launch of the products in Asda.
That may fit the discussion.
