Bunny, you will have to pay more attention to the important goings on in the world in you are going to avoid becoming stockpotbunny!

1. 'Goon' is a deliberate corruption of 'gunner'.
2. The Arsenal football club has a gun as its emblem, since it started a a group of workmen, who worked in the arsenal, kicking a ball about during breaks. (The standard of play hasn't improved much!)
3. The Arsenal players were so peeved at being thrashed by Man Utd recently, so losing their 49 game unbeaten run in the league, that they threw food at the great Sir Alex (the Man Utd manager)
4. I could have have referred to Arsenal by shortening the word Arsenal or their manager's first name (Arsene) or using the usual corruption of his second name 'Whinger'

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2004 15:24 - 18817 of 23498

Oh footie....well my entire knowledge stops at Old Trafford I'm afraid!!
;>)
And that knowledge was at it's best a few years ago..as demonstrated below:
(ok so make allowances for spelling chaps!!)
Schmicheal (danish bloke in goal, impossible name!)
Parker, Bruce, Pallister, Irwin (THE back 4!)
Giggs, Butt, Ince or Robson, Kancheskis/Beckham
Hughes/Cantona/Ollie Gunner Sol...(oh don't ask cos I can't spell it LOL)
Anyway that gives a clue of the time I was most into footie, or rather
got sucked into watching it more due to a male dominated household!!
:>)

daves dazzlers - 18 Nov 2004 15:29 - 18818 of 23498

Sounds like a bit of sour juice to me dont be bitter . Thats a bit rich,,did you not see one of the ugly brothers ,,gary nev,,lashing out in that game..

Rooney the looney.

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2004 15:33 - 18819 of 23498

Gary Neville and Phillip Neville brought in to replace the two
oldies..Irwin and Parker..:>)

Missed out Scholes in midfield.....
Oh you are so goign to wish you hadn't got me onto this subject!!
(evil grin!) ;>)

daves dazzlers - 18 Nov 2004 15:38 - 18820 of 23498

jeffmack - 18 Nov 2004 15:41 - 18821 of 23498

DD
Been lots written about it on various threads today. Looks one to avoid

optomistic - 18 Nov 2004 15:42 - 18822 of 23498

Rained off today so back in time for the close, anything left to eat, and a huge pot of tea please.

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2004 15:44 - 18823 of 23498

Plenty to eat so no probs Opto and Hello!!

Dave - Bioprogress? - no I'm not in that one - 3odd down today, oh
dear - worth riding it out (says the woman with FCCN! LOL) or are you
going to call it quits and walk away?
Have a beer by the way...

optomistic - 18 Nov 2004 15:49 - 18824 of 23498

Hello Bunny VOD doing OK!!

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2004 15:52 - 18825 of 23498

Yup I'm getting those pounds signs flashing across the eyes that
usually comes before I get the urge to hit the 'sell' button...
BUT will sit down and look carefully first - if I do hit the button
it will only be for 1/2 as I really think 160p+ is not unrealistic but
I could do with an 'offering' in the coffers this month!! :>)

That or it's baked beans for Christmas and the cat's out advertising her
services again in exchange for pints of milk! ;>)

optomistic - 18 Nov 2004 15:59 - 18826 of 23498

Yes Bunny 160p looks a lot closer now! like the rest it will have to be watched but I am not looking to exit yet, unless sentiment changes. The telcoms looked up yesterday on the Nasdac, could be the start of a resurgence in the sector :-)) (hopeful I am)
That poor cat she must be worn out!!

daves dazzlers - 18 Nov 2004 16:01 - 18827 of 23498

I will be shot of my first buy soon i hope at a 30%loss if i am lucky,i will be keeping hold of my other 2 buys,3k loss on it ouch.

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2004 16:02 - 18828 of 23498

LOL Opto.
OK two days in a row and few people in here - so where is everyone
off Christmas shopping or sunning themselves somewhere nice and hot?

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2004 16:03 - 18829 of 23498

Not a lot you can do Dave apart from what you are planning to do,
but yes losses hurt...have another beer and it may help dull the pain..

optomistic - 18 Nov 2004 16:12 - 18830 of 23498

Raining Bunny, folks don't bother coming out in the rain. Like you said the other day anyone looking in on here must think we are a wierd lot!! not surprising really is it, but perhaps some day some new adventurous, slightly eccentic person may cross the portals to join us :-)) Pint of Guiness please.
