Bioprogress (BPRG)

scorpion - 13 Aug 2003 13:54

Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Dil - 13 Apr 2005 14:37 - 1884 of 2372

Rasenberg : You can sod off too , it was blatant ramping the same kind of blatant ramping that litters this and every other bprg thread.

Fine , have an opinion on SEO but to say its gonna fly cos there's a deal coming is total b*llox ... ask one of the bprg shareholders that you claim to have so much sympathy for.

robinhood - 13 Apr 2005 15:04 - 1885 of 2372

Dil: you can sod off too....oh dear oh dear. This is supposed to be a page for both constructive and funny banter I always thought. Guess one thing is clear being long bprg and not owning seo does not get people in a good mood unfortunately

Jacks - 13 Apr 2005 15:12 - 1886 of 2372

Dil, if you can't take the knocks that go with buying small shares along with potential massive gains then don't play the game. Telling people to sod off on a web site is not big or clever, would you do it to their face, probably not!!!

andysmith - 13 Apr 2005 15:15 - 1887 of 2372

Diplomacy not your strong point then Dil !!!
Glass always half empty?

Nothing sick about recommending alternatives to hanging on and hoping. I clearly stated read the thread and research and not in a jibing manner at all. None of us know about a confirmed deal but if you ever read anything rather than just throw negative sentiment around then you will see from the RNS's about Asda deal, owned by Walmart, deals with US engineering firms etc. Of course we could be wrong that is why people do their own research and make their own decisions BUT THESE BB'S HAVE HELPED INFLUENCE ME AT TIMES TO RESEARCH NEW OPPORTUNITIES and I don't see your problem with discussing these on the bb's. BPRG have a disagreement with SEO, doesn't mean SEO holders want BPRG holders losing money. I don't.

Again, good luck folks, it could still deliver for you as BPRG have a good product portfolio but they have to get it to market profitably.

Dil - 13 Apr 2005 15:17 - 1888 of 2372

Lol , they're all coming out of the woodwork.

robin , your post shows how ignorant and clueless you are re my position on bprg , go wind someone else up mate who gives a toss.

Same goes for you Jack , I aint taking any knocks on these as any regular poster here knows so either your a wind up merchant or an idiot ... you choose.

Dil - 13 Apr 2005 15:19 - 1889 of 2372

Nothing wrong with suggesting taking a look at SEO andy but read my post ... to say they are going to fly cos you know a deal is coming is boll*x as it was when the same crap was being spouted about bprg.

I wished you luck on SEO and still do so but it aint gonna fly cos of what you know !

Dil - 13 Apr 2005 15:21 - 1890 of 2372

And andy your right , diplomacy aint my strong point but I only say it as I see it and not as I wish it was.

Chiva20 - 13 Apr 2005 15:26 - 1891 of 2372

Chaps, just agree to disagree. I think you all have very good points but try not get personal, and more importantly don't take offence or react if you don't like someone elses comments.

Your comments are extremely valuable to others (especially newbies like me). Try keep it that way!

Jacks - 13 Apr 2005 15:28 - 1892 of 2372

Dil,

I am not the idiot who has just lost a shed load on BRPG. I am however an idiot who has just made 500% profit on SEO. As for SEO and announcements they are coming thick (excuse the pun) and fast

You are right I do like to wind people up, some people are easier than others!!!! take your pick where you fall.

andysmith - 13 Apr 2005 15:31 - 1893 of 2372

I know nothing Dil other than what has been commented in various RNS's.Read what the Asda bloke said, what Balchin said about opportunities with parent group and recent RNS's. I know as much as anyone else who read these RNS's.
You can have views on shares Dil but you don't have to post negative sentiment all of the time when you are not a holder. There are loads of shares with threads on this site, I clearly don't agree with positive thoughts on many of them but as a non-holder why should I go on there and wind people up.
Sometimes things take a turn for the worse for all of us, unless of course you are perfect? The last thing decent BPRG holders need now is YOU and your cynicism, told you so winding up and foul mouth. Do you have many friends?

Fred1new - 13 Apr 2005 15:35 - 1894 of 2372

Andy I agree with you. I was told off for saying it was to high at 150 and 120, but made a mistake of buying at about 105 and lower. Dented my pride and pocket a little. I still think this company has extremely useful technology and products, which hopefully will be marketed by them as a company. It has cash in hand and there were some institutional buys at much higher share price than now. I think probably it is a good time to have a financial re-appraisal and a board shake up. Hopefully the outcome will be good long-term. I hope it will be short term.) But it does re-emphasise the problems of betting on the smaller companies., but many go through similar traumas, think of RTD, PDX etc.

My guess is that there will be some recovery over the next week in the price once the hysteria and disappointment fades.

PS Forgive Dil he has only a small dictionary and lots of the words have been left out of his edition. 8-)

andysmith - 13 Apr 2005 15:37 - 1895 of 2372

Chiva, agree.
Just thought I'd contribute to BPRG thread and up pops Dil to have a pop.Never mind, main thing is that I wish all BPRG holders well.

Dil - 13 Apr 2005 15:39 - 1896 of 2372

Jacks , it was obvious you had not read the thread otherwise you would not have posted what you did.

andy , do you think that me keeping quiet would have avoided what happened today ?

Obviously not so my negative comments and arguments with the bulls may just have saved a few people a few bob hopefully.

andysmith - 13 Apr 2005 15:49 - 1897 of 2372

Dil, no i don't and as I said I happen to agree with some of your thoughts, it's just the way that you go about putting them and your tone.
Lets leave this alone now for the BPRG holders.

Bones - 13 Apr 2005 15:51 - 1898 of 2372

Andy, I think the point Dil is making is that you clearly do not believe SEO is at its highs yet forgetting that when BPRG was at its highs of 160p, the very same circumstances were in place. A large contract with a multinational, technology not yet rolled out, universal expectations that the price was going to multi-bag having already gone up 200% in the prior 3 months. Total euphoria and no conception that the price reflects that euphoria.

What is the market cap of SEO?

What is the turnover of SEO?

I hold neither share , for the record.

joehargan1 - 13 Apr 2005 15:53 - 1899 of 2372

Bones, could not agree more. We saw where that unfounded euphoria took PET investors not so long ago.

Bones - 13 Apr 2005 15:55 - 1900 of 2372

Market cap SEO = 160m
Turnover SEO = 1m

Projections won't wash either. ASDA will not give money away and it will take a long time roll out. SEO directors are well versed in dressing up their RNS announcements. This is reality.

Dil - 13 Apr 2005 16:05 - 1901 of 2372

andy , the attitude problem is probably down to the way I have been adressed by the majority of bprg holders over the last year.

I apologise.

goldfinger - 13 Apr 2005 16:13 - 1902 of 2372

Well the good news is Evil as closed his short the bad news is he made 150,000 grand profit.

cheers GF.

andysmith - 13 Apr 2005 16:23 - 1903 of 2372

All good reasoned points to throw into the hat.
Different opinions but nothing wrong with that.
I'm a poet and I don't know it!!

Will BPRG recover is the decision holders have to assess now.
If yes, buying will reduce average and time to break-even on total holding.
If no get out, cut losses and look elsewhere. If uncertain??
These times are never easy, we've all had them.
