Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Forget the storm. The real dangers facing America are hatred, division and a collapsing political system

tanks - if there world were full of bigots such as yourself, then the future would be bleak indeed ..... thank goodness the overwhelming majority of the world's populace are better balanced and outweigh the "lunatic fringe" many times over, whatever their colour, creed, economic status and everything else that goes to make up a human being

Former Labour minister Denis MacShane is facing suspension from the Commons for 12 month.
A Parliamentary committee found that he had submitted 19 false invoices "plainly intended to deceive" Parliament's expenses authority.
The committee said it was the "gravest case" which has come to them for adjudication.
Mr MacShane said he was "shocked and saddened" and was now considering his position.

''shocked and saddened'' not ''sorry'' then. What was he ''shocked'' about, I assume he submitted it, as for 'saddened' he is just sad he got found out.
Since the expenses scandal was exposed and we the electorate were made aware of the vast sums involved, and the fact that claims were made for as little as a plug or a kit-kat, I wondered, what was there left for them to purchase using their salary (God forbid), it appears to me the answer is nothing, everything they buy is claimed as expenses. So what do they use their salary for.

Anyone a victim of crime, can report that crime to the Police.
I am a tax payer, so along with all tax payers, I am a victim of the fraud carried out by MacShane.
I will give this 7 days to see if the Police take action, as I am sure the press will bring the usual pressure to bare, and then if they don't I will report the crime to the appropriate Police Force.

Hi Mnamreh,
Thanks for that, there were so many of the fiddling barstewerds, that I lost track of what happened to who.
Due to the committees comments, I will still wait and see what if anything happens, then will contact the Police to see if they will re-consider.
I doubt they will, but it can't do any harm.

Chuck the info up then please as should be an interesting read. The vast majority of politicians are crooks, and are not even qualified or have relevant experience to hold the offices they do. MP's should be made up of a proportion of professionals who have relevant business experience. My view is the political system doesn't work, we need something else, what exactly I'm not sure. Maybe the government should be subject to audit in the same way companies are so we could understand where all the tax revenue really goes...

Lol, and also as long as he considers his position before he picks up the soap.
On a serious note, I have contacted The Telegraph as they were the main instigators of exposing the expenses scandal, to see if they will bring pressure to bear on the CPS.
The CPS do not have an e-mail address, so can only be contacted via telephone or letter, so will wait a while yet before I start trying to press a few buttons.
