Hello Chocs. Sorry you had a bad day, better one tomorrow perhaps. Shall we open a bottle?

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 18:13 - 18847 of 23498

Thank you Socks...best offer I've had all day ;)

Socrates - 18 Nov 2004 18:29 - 18848 of 23498

Maybe I should have offered more...

Spaceman - 18 Nov 2004 18:32 - 18849 of 23498

evening all, just back from another day labouring up the scaffolding. I am not used to the physical work, feeling completely knackered, just had a bath and I think I may take the Lamb down to the Dutch Coffee house and relax in my favourite chair with a quiet smoke and coffee. Anyone remember where my slippers are ?

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 18:38 - 18850 of 23498

It's never too late, Socks.
Space, I think you'll find that lambykins was using them to keep his ears warm...too much snow, don't you know.

daves dazzlers - 18 Nov 2004 18:39 - 18851 of 23498

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 18:41 - 18852 of 23498

No, not this time, dd - but I know a few who do. Sorry to hear about your tussle. If it's any consolation, I came off rather badly some time ago, when it was around 1.20.

Socrates - 18 Nov 2004 18:45 - 18853 of 23498

Chocs, I think it probably is too late for me!

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 18:49 - 18854 of 23498

Spoon at the ready here, Socks - any trifle?

Socrates - 18 Nov 2004 19:05 - 18855 of 23498

Chocs
For you I will break out my special reserve, don't take too much though. It contains a very liberal amount of falling-over juice.

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 19:15 - 18856 of 23498

Ah, no worries in the falling-over department, Socks.

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 19:23 - 18857 of 23498

Any minute now, BigA's going to ask if the espresso machine's been fixed..

jeffmack - 18 Nov 2004 19:37 - 18858 of 23498

fundy
was in SKP but out today. Didnt get the top but made a nice turn

Socrates - 18 Nov 2004 19:40 - 18859 of 23498

The Expresso machine was never broken. The cleaner pulled the plug out to plug her vacuum cleaner in.

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 19:42 - 18860 of 23498

Is this the cleaner from the hospital down the road?

optomistic - 18 Nov 2004 19:45 - 18861 of 23498

Can't we get a cleaner that is not unwell?

Fundamentalist - 18 Nov 2004 19:45 - 18862 of 23498

Jeff - the top hasnt been reached yet i hope (that will come with the announcement in the next few weeks - could be tomorrow). I have a large holding in my ISA and also a fairly big spread bet medium term trade

Big Al - 18 Nov 2004 19:53 - 18863 of 23498

The espresso machines fine, choccy. I've just put it to good use. ;-)

I am a bit pissed off, though. It was chopper day, but got cancelleed eventually and I've asked for my 3rd change in flight plans in the last 24 hours. It's snowing like mad, cold, I've had 4 hours sleep in the last 30 and won't get to bed 'til about 4am for a 3 hour nap before delayed chopper arrives. Still, only 3 plane flights after that to get home.

I hate Norway!

I want to get blitzed!

Sorry - evening all!!!

chocolat - 18 Nov 2004 19:58 - 18864 of 23498

Snow, BigA? Snow??
We've had snow too, don't y'know...any excuse to get blitzed.

daves dazzlers - 18 Nov 2004 20:01 - 18865 of 23498

Evening all, there`s a touch of snow about in north wales.
