Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Spaceman - 31 Oct 2007 16:29 - 18850 of 24230

Evening all, time for a few Danish, any left????

optomistic - 31 Oct 2007 16:37 - 18851 of 24230

They have dried up a bit spacie, be alright with some gravy on them.

Spaceman - 01 Nov 2007 06:58 - 18852 of 24230

That gravy and Danish were yummy.

Morning from a not yet bright Sevenoaks, of into London again today for work, looks like I will have to do about 4 days per week in the office for the next few weeks, not sure I like commuting again, for a start I have to get up early ;-(

optomistic - 01 Nov 2007 08:05 - 18853 of 24230

Morning Spacie, you should be in the office now? Surrounded by all those lovely girlies to chat to all day :-))
I'll send a courier over with lots of fresh danish, they are happy when they are eating!

Bluelady - 01 Nov 2007 08:31 - 18854 of 24230

Good morning optomistic and Spaceman,

Optomistic, I see no expense spared for Spaceman ;0) ...although I do know that railway stations/motorway restaurants sell Danish Pastries.

optomistic - 01 Nov 2007 08:33 - 18855 of 24230

Morning Blue, but ours are on special promotion offer....permanent :-)

Bluelady - 01 Nov 2007 08:43 - 18856 of 24230

But surely a courier costs would outway the special offer deal on the pastries, unless you really enjoy riding on a fast motorbike around London traffic?

Socrates - 01 Nov 2007 08:44 - 18857 of 24230

Good morning all. Socco will be at the NEC today, antiques fair is the draw.

optomistic - 01 Nov 2007 08:45 - 18858 of 24230

Not been on a fast motorbike in London Blue, you offering :-))

Bluelady - 01 Nov 2007 08:51 - 18859 of 24230

Good morning Socrates,

Optomistic............don't be silly, I am the one suggesting that Danish pastries are cheaper in the restaurants/cafes than paying a courier....or even the petrol for a motorbike...I'd just give Spaceman the money to buy his own.

stockbunny - 01 Nov 2007 10:41 - 18860 of 24230

Morning all - quick cuppa on route - busy in the warren today, sun's shining and there's enough laundry to keep 1/2 a dozen busy!

Socrates - 01 Nov 2007 10:58 - 18861 of 24230

I'm still here. Just could not work up the necessary thrust to get out early so will probably do the trip on Saturday. Elevenses would seem to be in order.

Socrates - 01 Nov 2007 15:13 - 18862 of 24230

I'm glad I stayed. Unusually for me I did a small trade as one of my stocks did a little surge this morning, so I sold and locked in a little profit. The price then fell back so I re-bought and now have a slightly larger holding. Only a small amount but I'm not used to trading, only medium term investing.

A swift pot of tea to celebrate, I think.

Spaceman - 02 Nov 2007 07:36 - 18863 of 24230

Morning all, bit dull in Sevenoaks and i am off up to London again ;-(

I wonder if we could influence the London Market into producing some Danish based derivatives ??

stockbunny - 02 Nov 2007 07:36 - 18864 of 24230

Well done Socco :>)
Tea's on folks!

stockbunny - 02 Nov 2007 07:37 - 18865 of 24230

Sorry morning Spacie :>)

optomistic - 02 Nov 2007 09:48 - 18866 of 24230

Morning all
Large pot of tea and double danish please, then I'm going for a ride round London on my BSA Bantam it's got 125cc a real flying machine! Look out Blue :-)

optomistic - 02 Nov 2007 09:48 - 18867 of 24230

Looks like I am going twice.

Socrates - 02 Nov 2007 09:57 - 18868 of 24230

Good morning all, I finally managed to prise myself off the bed so here I am. Tea and a good, hot FRB will do nicely.

stockbunny - 02 Nov 2007 10:09 - 18869 of 24230

Tea's ready Socco and if you're after a FEB you know where the frying pan is, alternatively if you really want a FRB as long as it's legal I'm sure its about somewhere!
