Di,

I know of Teryy Robins. Both from my ICI days and in my current Sales Role. I believe he will be a asset to SEO and will provide an important foot in the door at Sainsbury. Once ASDA are fully commercialised Tesco and Sainsbury won't want to miss out.
Onwards and upwards for SEO. Can't believe there are so many people selling at the moment.

Andy,

I timed it wrong recently and bought @ 16p - what / when is this "one more possible dip" you refer to above, please?

bosley - 01 Mar 2005 12:35 - 1889 of 27111

bit of a bumpy ride today. still blue though. di, i think driver was just yanking your chain ; he gets like that sometimes, too many early mornings and all that..........good post though , di . its always good to know a little about the people we are trusting with our cash.

Dynamite - 01 Mar 2005 12:46 - 1890 of 27111

Bos...I realised that after the second post.

Jacks...Interesting you know Terry Robbins too. Well really anyone who has sold to Sainsburys and had any different product would have met him. At least he has all the contacts to get SEO into Sainsburys as well.

A mid morning high of 17.25 and here we sit at lunchtime with a 15/15.5 spread. A nice play to have sold into strength, sat and watched its inevitable impetus fade , drop 15% and rebought at current levels. The wonder of hindsight. Reg the plethora of selling at the moment one would have thought asda told SEO to take a hike . Although i am aware that most people in selling are merely playing the percentages it almost makes me want to buy if only to put a little blue on the sea of red ..Volumes sadly are NOT as high as i had anticipated after such an RNS . With such potential there is a dearth of worthwhile sized buyers . That bothers me.This exclusivity talk bothers me . ...But those in the know are those in the packaging industry and if even had i not shared thier sentiments i would "hold" on thier knowledge alone.l am an energy anaylist and far from home .

bosley - 01 Mar 2005 12:55 - 1892 of 27111

jack , di , when i first got interested in seo there were two companies mentioned as being interested in seo's packaging technology: sainsburys and macdonalds. i did expect sainsburys to have been the first supermarket to deal with seo but its looking like asda have gazumped them. not heard anything else since about macdonalds, so ive put that down to bulls*t. still blue.

Very good driver!

rootsconsulting - 01 Mar 2005 13:23 - 1896 of 27111

have just seen flash on Bloomberg re Walmart trialling SEO tray lidding... hardly surprising I suppose. Yet more good news.

driver - 01 Mar 2005 13:25 - 1897 of 27111

I think he could be our New Mascot I will put him on when the sp is going north, or when requested.

rootsconsulting - 01 Mar 2005 13:40 - 1898 of 27111

misread it. Walmart are 'TO USE' (not trial)new technology. So it's official. Explains the new gap up this morning.

greekman - 01 Mar 2005 13:50 - 1899 of 27111

rootsconsulting... Can only find article to do with RFI technology re keeping trace on products sold/selves or in store ect, cant find anything re the SEO packaging.

Dynamite - 01 Mar 2005 13:55 - 1900 of 27111

stockdog - 01 Mar 2005 14:03 - 1902 of 27111

I can only suppose the largish sells are perhaps people/institutions free to sell after the results announcement. MMs have no reason to let the price rise whilst thse guys are happy to offload some stock on which they have made a decent profit since last year. When they're flushed through, we will start to see a steady increment in SP, I suspect.

The headline actually says Walmart's Asda is to use the RF sealing technology. A one line synopsis of the rns. On Bloomberg tv.

Dynamite - 01 Mar 2005 14:05 - 1904 of 27111

Nope Greekman that's not the one

greekman - 01 Mar 2005 14:08 - 1905 of 27111

Dynamite... Ok sorry in the dark like you. Will make another attempt to find a link relating to Walmart/Seo.

bosley - 01 Mar 2005 14:10 - 1906 of 27111

i think we all have got a little too excited by todays rns. although its an rns and it concerns seo and asda , it aint THE ONE! it basically says asda like it , is happy with the way ongoing trials are going and one product using seo's tray lidding technology is on the shelves for sale at asda stores from today. so really, todays rns is tfc's (i think) acorn. :)
