New Millennium Res Cancellation of AIM Listing,
RNS Number:2004Y
New Millennium Resources Ltd
09 February 2006

New Millennium Resources Limited (the "Company")

o Cancellation of AIM Listing

o Advanced Negotiations to Acquire Three Kimberlite areas in Angola

o Proposes to list on Ofex

Pursuant to Rule 34 of the AIM Rules, the London Stock Exchange will cancel the
Company's admission to AIM with effect from 7.00am on Friday 10 February 2006.

The Directors of the Company are exploring a number of options to protect the
Company's shareholders' interests. It is envisaged that in the short to medium
term the Company will seek a listing on an appropriate market, in particular the
Board is considering Ofex. In the management's view, Ofex could provide an
appropriate framework within which the Company can operate successfully and
economically.

The Company is pleased to confirm that it is in advanced stages of negotiations
to acquire up to three kimberlite bearing concession areas in the diamond rich
Lunda Sul region of Angola.

The concession areas lie within a 50 mile radius of the Saurimo region which
currently accounts for some 75% of diamond production in Angola. Within this
area is situated Catoca, the third largest diamond mine in the world as well as
the Company's existing concession at Rio Lapi and also includes Petra Diamonds
and Xceldiam amongst others.

In the Company's opinion, the three Lunda Sul licenses represent a significantly
better opportunity than the licenses available through Kassai, not the least of
which is proximity to the Company's Rio Lapi C9 concession where the Company's
substantial, wholly owned, diamond mining plant is located. Consequently, the
Company has withdrawn from further negotiations with Kassai.

Shane Healy, managing director of New Millennium Resources Limited, commented:

"We are extremely excited by the new opportunities that have emerged
and believe it is in the Company's best interest to pursue these over
Kassai. We likewise believe it is a prudent time to formalize the
business's acquisition targets and to restructure the business
accordingly prior to re-listing the Company on a junior public market."

In the management's view, Ofex provides the most appropriate framework for the
Company to operate within.

Shane Healy added:

"We would like to thank shareholders for their continued support and to
confirm that any further fund raising will be offered to existing
shareholders through a rights issue in recognition of their ongoing
loyalty."

Mr. Healy is in Angola at present finalizing negotiations for the new
acquisitions mentioned. The Company anticipates updating shareholders on
developments within the business -including the expansion of the board to
include an experienced geologist and senior mining executive - within the
next four weeks.

Well no more than expected really,

Back to exploration and delisted tomorrow.

stockdog - 09 Feb 2006 17:29 - 1893 of 1909

At least that saves a decision - whether to leave my money in or not! lol

I've always said that 3 kimberlites (de-listed) were better than one alluvial (listed).

We shall see. Is Ofex freely tradeable on line or do you need to go through specialist brokers or is it matched bargains only? Advice welcome. Thanks.

what an absolute disaster!!

And some people apparently see this as good news!!!!!!
not sure ofex will accept them either, they are more regulated than people think!

people are now holding shares in a private company, what a shame, this could be seen coming from early last year....a sad day for shareholders, another company mining shareholders rather than diamonds

yet another example of why bb fan clubs are dangerous places, they lack objectivity and lose their focus to the bleedin obvious...

hard luck any holders here..

Amities SD ,,,,.Helpful in French ? - serviable ou aide/r ,,when applied a to person. utile if applied to a tool//implement which makes less difficult the doing of an act . .....lncidentally SD ,l wasnt having a joke at your expense about the "diamond collars" but rather at Dynamite who was so emphatic & dogmatic she was right that we would all be kissing her feet when diamonds were found .............................l know you and Eric would seriously relish that prospect alone ,lol so the less said the better. So would Bos if he was given the chance ,,,lol But speaking personally i wasnt impressed ...@+ J..... ..ln many cases that it what is wrong with BBs ,,,A core of people always form the consensus of opinion and to diverge from "their" path is much maligned. Put in in a drawer . Never say never i guess . Sincere commiserations to those who quite undesrvedly lost ANY money on this stock . Much of the fault cannot lay at their door as you can only collate data in such a young company from the horses mouth ,,,, and unfortunately the horses turned out to be asses .............A/b @+ J ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,PS l dont know ANYONE called Jenny ,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol ,,,,,,,soz-private joke .... From today's Sunday Times.

Business

The Sunday Times February 12, 2006

Prufrock: EDITED BY LOUISE ARMITSTEAD

NEW MILLENNIUM, the 6m diamond-mining firm, was finally delisted on Friday. It has lurched from complaints in 2004 that were made to AIM after shareholders were suspected of silently dumping stock, to death threats made to the management because it was thought they were withholding information. Now no adviser will represent it. How strange.

Andy - 14 Feb 2006 22:57 - 1899 of 1909

TFC,

It has been mentioned across the road that the 5 million placing went to FSW Europe, and Pacific.

THIS HAS NOT YET BEEN CONFIRMED!

If this does turn out to be accurate, I would see this as a huge negative, as their clients may wish to sell straight away if NML manage to relist anywhere, IMO.

One can ony imagine how a person would feel to buy the stock, only for it to be immediately suspended, then delisted!

As I say, this is not confirmed yet, but if this turns out to be true, I understand the reason they have not informed their shareholders who bought the one billion placing shares.

Andy - 19 Feb 2006 00:41 - 1900 of 1909

TFC,

It would appear that the rumour that FSW and Pacific took the 5 million placing are true!

At least that appears to be the consensus on other BB's.

And the customers of those brokers must be seething after buying, then within days seeing the stock suspended, and now delisted!

NML is now a private company, and will remain so until they manage to list on an exchange somewhere.

TheFrenchConnection - 19 Feb 2006 05:17 - 1901 of 1909

Amities / Seething ? Something of an understatement. Do you not agree?. Seething ?? !! Virtually 10 m in losses. And then to watch in horror as it is suspended, delisted and "rated "as a pariah even among OFEX specialist publications. OFEX are not as non regulated as an earliar poster erruditely pointed out ,,,,,,,,,and all this exitement within a week ! - tu n'es pas cense faire cela..... l bet Shanes mobiles switched off / conviently lost ....or more likely cut off. !!La Branleur ! { wa&&&&er.}...c'est la vie ,je suppose. mon ami/es. All goes to show that all that glitters is not Gold - or come to that - Diamondiferous . .Talking of diamonds whats happened to the j/v holding NML had at Garnet Lake in Canada. Fin@+ J

Andy - 20 Feb 2006 11:39 - 1902 of 1909

TFC,

It certainly is an understatement, and even those type of brokers must be annoyed as that must have lost them a few customers!

As you rightly point out, OFEX isn't a gimmee at all, in fact they regulate just as much as AIM, if not more so!

No word from the company yet, as was promised in some quarters!

Andy - 23 Feb 2006 10:57 - 1903 of 1909

FSW Europe and Pacific act as 'brokers in principle'.

This phrase is certainly not understood by some NML holders, but a read of this article explains it better IMO.

Still no word from Shane Healy, and the promised circular has still not materialised, despite being several weeks overdue.

I spoke to Gary Middleton last week, and he says he is due to speak to Shane this week.

I informed him that several shareholders are a little anxious at the lack of news, and in particular the promised ciruclar updating people of the cirmcumstances of the delisting, and their plans for the future.

Gary said NML intended to relist, and that OFEX was the likely market.

Hi there,

Is there anyone other than me still watching this thread? It has gone awfully quiet. Am I the only one left holding shares and hoping for some sort of movement?

Any news or opinions would be gratefully received.

I've written this investment off long ago. The longer we don't hear the less likely any value will ever revert to shareholders, especially with the May down turn in confidence in oilers/miners making it so much harder to raise fresh funds.

If something turns up it will be an unexpected bonus, but I'm not going to torture myself by looking for it.

Good luck elsewhere!

Dear Shareholder,

We are pleased to announce that the Company has entered into an option agreement to acquire an 80% interest in two copper cobalt concessions in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The concessions cover an area of approximately 800 square kilometres and are situated in the copper rich Katanga region of the DRC. The remaining 20% will be owned by local Congolese parties as is the practice.

The concessions are in close proximity to the operations of Canadian copper miner First Quantum Minerals and close to the Zambian boarder in south eastern DRC. The concessions are for 15 years with options to extend. Copper grades, yet to be confirmed, show high yields with potential for artisanal mining operations in stage 1 of the project which is expected to produce early cash returns.

We have negotiated a JV arrangement with an operator to fund the project. The payment will be by way of a workout agreement therefore preventing dilution of shareholders stock.

The DRC has experienced heightened interest from large international miners since the recent elections in the country. Phelps Dodge, the worlds larges copper miner, has recently announced massive expansion plans in the DRC. BHP and Rio Tinto have also increased their activities in the country.

The board further announces that it is in advanced stages of discussions with a listed entity to acquire New Millennium. The boards stated aim is to achieve a value of US$0.02 per share for its members. This is the basis of our negotiations and we are confident will be achieved. Acquisition will be by way of a share swap. The prospective suitor intends making application for AIM listing in the New Year.

Due Diligence is expected to be completed within 90 days and settlement 30 to 60 days thereafter. Your board expects that all steps will therefore be completed prior to the northern summer.

Yours faithfully

Shane M Healy
