kitosdad - 27 Sep 2007 08:45 - 1893 of 3050

Nah ....it's doomed. Take my word for it. LOL.

hlyeo98 - 27 Sep 2007 17:58 - 1894 of 3050

Still going up today. ;-)

goldfinger - 04 Oct 2007 11:09 - 1895 of 3050

lol, ask yourself this why have they not updated the market from the last RNS on this point that they were so willing to get over when the SP was so much lower.......

" A
further six furnaces are at different stages of trial production and are
expected in full production by the end of September. Trial production from a
further five furnaces is expected to commence by the end of September".ENDS

This news today can only be looked upon as a profit warning yet again.

The bulls are trying to cover this up and it aint working.

Why are the management holding back on news of the furnaces on trial?.

You make your own conclusions, I know what mine is.

hlyeo98 - 04 Oct 2007 12:12 - 1896 of 3050

You might be right goldfinger. I had the same thoughts 2 days ago and sold then. It was lucky timing.

goldfinger - 04 Oct 2007 15:40 - 1897 of 3050

Luck indeed h98, its now heading for sub 300p on lack of news on further funding for this so called capacity expansion.

good luck.

hlyeo98 - 04 Oct 2007 18:14 - 1898 of 3050

Just when we say there wasn't news, they came up with below...

ReneSola Q3 production 36 MW; says on track for FY output of 120-125 MW - AFX

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - ReneSola Ltd said total production output in the third quarter was about 36 megawatts (MW), up from 23 MW reported in the second quarter.

ReneSola, which makes wafers for the solar PV industry, also said it is on track to achieve its reduced full-year production output guidance of 120-125 MW.

In Aug, the company reduced its production output guidance from 150 MW to between 120 and 125 MW, which it said will have an adverse impact on its financial target for the year.

hlyeo98 - 04 Oct 2007 18:19 - 1899 of 3050

But surely this isn't news as there is not a word of the six furnaces and the other five furnaces.

Something is fishy, I feel.

goldfinger - 05 Oct 2007 12:16 - 1900 of 3050

Spot on, couldnt have put it better myself.

kitosdad - 09 Oct 2007 08:21 - 1901 of 3050

LOL GF ....

hlyeo98 - 09 Oct 2007 09:34 - 1902 of 3050

What's going on? Any news??? Drop to 285p now.

cynic - 09 Oct 2007 11:12 - 1903 of 3050

interesting moves while i have been away ...... need to get into the rhythm again, but perhaps a chance to short once more with 300 having given way easily

cynic - 09 Oct 2007 12:12 - 1904 of 3050

chart below pretty much tells the story .... 200 dma gave way long ago; 50 dma now significantly breached; 25 dma now threatening to give way ..... possible or even probable support of some kind at about 240, but don't forget that there was certainly intra-day trading not long ago around 200p and even below

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=SOLA&S

cynic - 09 Oct 2007 12:33 - 1905 of 3050

my post 1882 ..... interesting to see that "360 becomes the next target" was borne out ...... equally, whereas 300 was quite a stubborn resistance on the way up, it does not seem to have provided any support on the way down, albeit that there are still a few hours of trading to run today

goldfinger - 09 Oct 2007 12:55 - 1906 of 3050

Looks to me like traders just taking their money away from the table.

Having said that we got a period of falling SP before the last profit warning.

Results are due Nov sometime.

goldfinger - 09 Oct 2007 13:30 - 1907 of 3050

Worth a look at this piece. Is the solar sector due to melt down?........

http://online.barrons.com/article/SB119162915757750853.html?mod=googlenews_barrons

the ending sums it up perfectly......

Despite LDK's controversy, China's solar stocks ended last week with their handsome valuations largely intact. That's in part because investment bankers like Piper Jaffrey stubbornly maintained their Outperform ratings, even as they circulated Charley Situ's e-mails to institutional investors. Sound familiar? That's how analysts like Henry Blodget behaved before the bursting of the Internet bubble.

Falcothou - 19 Oct 2007 09:23 - 1908 of 3050

Through the 360 resistance

cynic - 19 Oct 2007 09:32 - 1909 of 3050

certainly SOLA is confounding the (would be) bears like myself, though i have had no position here for about 2 months ....... certainly not inclined to buy, but that (for me) applies to any stocks at the moment, as i just have a gut feeling that the markets are due for a hefty tumble ..... if i were a holder, i would certainly have a trailing stop in place

Falcothou - 19 Oct 2007 09:59 - 1910 of 3050

No position here either unfortunately as they have had a good run from their recent visit to 280

kitosdad - 23 Oct 2007 11:24 - 1911 of 3050

LOL .... very quiet here nowadays.

Greyhound - 23 Oct 2007 12:02 - 1912 of 3050

i've gone long here with a few tranched in last couple of weeks.
