Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Obviously not so my negative comments and arguments with the bulls may just have saved a few people a few bob hopefully.

Andy, I think the point Dil is making is that you clearly do not believe SEO is at its highs yet forgetting that when BPRG was at its highs of 160p, the very same circumstances were in place. A large contract with a multinational, technology not yet rolled out, universal expectations that the price was going to multi-bag having already gone up 200% in the prior 3 months. Total euphoria and no conception that the price reflects that euphoria.

I hold neither share , for the record.

Bones, could not agree more. We saw where that unfounded euphoria took PET investors not so long ago.

Market cap SEO = 160m
Turnover SEO = 1m

Projections won't wash either. ASDA will not give money away and it will take a long time roll out. SEO directors are well versed in dressing up their RNS announcements. This is reality.

andy , the attitude problem is probably down to the way I have been adressed by the majority of bprg holders over the last year.

Will BPRG recover is the decision holders have to assess now.
If yes, buying will reduce average and time to break-even on total holding.
If no get out, cut losses and look elsewhere. If uncertain??
These times are never easy, we've all had them.

We will all never agree on everything and our investment choices, the one thing we can agree on is that we don't wish to see any investors get a serious burning. We all lose from time to time and to be honest I learnt a lot from mistakes in my first twelve months and feel that I am doing much better and making much better informed decisons helped by these boards.
It doesn't mean I won't get it wrong again though!!!

I have never run out of sins to commit or mistakes to make, and every time I think I have, another sneaks up on me.(BPRG) But still swimming not drowning. But life would be boring without the hangman's laugh.

I think BPRG has been oversold today...If it goes up tomorrow, I will sail in it.

Might get shorters buying back now that Evil as closed his. One to watch like an hawk though.

Shares in BioProgress crashed 19p to 30.25p after the group issued a grim trading update. The company said that trading levels at its BioTec Films subsidiary in Tampa were not as strong as previously anticipated and were unlikely to reach levels indicated in previous announcements. It also said that the company's consolidated overheads, before any capital expenditure, were also expected to be higher than previously indicated. The company did say that it still believed that, within the company's portfolio, there were technologies which could produce significant value on commercialisation - investors weren't so sure. I do not hold bprg but I had to see what all the fuss was about isn't this just a minor set back TABWRAP is not operational till 2006, this is a great opportunity to average down.

It is intended that the TABWRAP machine will be fully commissioned, operational and ready to install into one of a number of interested contract pharmaceutical manufacturers during the first quarter of 2006.

Wasn't 100p a great price to average down ... then 80p ... then 50p and now 30p ????

Yes I know the saying falling knives and all that, use the 20% rule in reverse when it hits the bottom and goes up 20% buy back in, in this case you would have sold at 104p and still be waiting to buy back in.
