can someone please explain what this bit means,
"The Company is in advanced negotiations with a number of potential joint venture
partners in the USA to compound biodegradable resin."
is this the next hope and hype cash raiser after greenseal and starpol?

Bos,
I read it as another way of describing the Micro manufacturing units they mentioned some time ago. Could be very wrong.

Correctly read, Alan

would not be too worried of a placing of 10,000,000 shares as this amounts to a mere 400,000 . Just like to know what "on the cusp" means in SEO lingo

Its an anagram of "spun the Co."

"on the cusp" in SEO lingo should mean tottering on the edge of the great abyss, though no doubt the pronouncement actually comes with Micawberish sentiments.

I read it the same way as Tony and Alan.
Does anyone know when the next payment for Biotec is due? Any placement would presumably have to fund that. In which case the pacement would need to be larger than before.
WM would have been aware of the financial situation all along. The current situation has come into being essentially because of the ASDA exclusivity.
Puts WM in a good bargaining position, possibly. A deal would keep SEO afloat.

Stanelco said it is in advanced talks with a number of potential joint US partners to make biodegradable resin.
"This is to meet the demands currently expressed to Stanelco by major multiple retailers and global fast food chains,"
Fast food chain's ! more than one, that's new.

Alan. I expect the sp will be back to 5p by end of trading.
I expect news re our collective hunch within 2 weeks.
i also expect FI's to have dipped their toes in by then.
It was niave of me to suppose that SEO would play a level field with pi's.
we are but small fry.
I would tell you what my 'hunch' is , but I think from the above you can figure it out.
SNAFU.
Still happy to hold this share. also happy to slap any member of SEO's board who crosses my path.

Biotec agreement was to pay a lump at the time (done) and a further $6.25m to be paid in 2 instalments, 12 and 24 months after completion.
Completion was announced on 5 Sept 05 so a payment is due within 3 weeks of the first installment of $3.125m - SEO half, SPhere half.
Presumably this is in their calculation of 3 months cash flow remaining or the FD is not doing his job.

Thinking the shorters would be closing which would restore normality (whatever that is), I bought another million earlier today. We shall see....

tony is not the only one. Just bot 160000 myself. (If we are going to be a sucker for punishment we may just as well do it properly- despite what has happened with delays etc, I still am a great believer that all will come good in the end)

As the RNS says "three months in the absence of further funding or new
revenue streams commencing in the period".
There is really nothing in the RNS and MWs statement that is new knowledge other than confirmation that Letters of Intent have been exchanged. So why look upon it differently today than yesterday? What has changed except a 15% lower purchase price?
