1 out of 2 there, Sputtie - one of ours was used as sandwich filling the other week - and the insurers are about to repossess the rudeness car from us.
Didn't like it anyway.

new house is just down the road in sale - complete renovation job -should keep me out of trouble for a few months

When you say a sandwich filling I presume it was in a crash?

I'm just coming to the end of renovating a large semi, it's the last renovation I'll do, but then again after a few months you forget the pain and do it again

done a few before and enjoy it normally - especially as i can commit more time this time round. this one is a 3 bed detached which i am putting a 2 storey extension on. of the existing property the walls, joists and trusses should survive but the rest looks vulnerable

Sput - in most houses that would be true but in this house someone got there first - im actually going to have to put an extra wall in - the sledgehammer will have to be saved fo the detached garage!!!!!

Every time I log in theres hundreds ofb bits to wade through, really good I reckon.
Chocks..yea,to your boilers but then again who's to say about ones own appearance, guess I'm no spring chicken!

Jessie..if you're staying at Stow [one of my old stampin grounds ], make sure you visit the pub at Guiting Power, a tiny hamlet not far from you, down through village of Lower Swell [an ex-love of mine, horsey type,polo & racehorses, McDonald Buchanan Black & White Whisky no less, came from there- used that pub Golden Ball] anyway, the rubadubdub at Guiting is a blinder and is owned by Peter Scudamore and a couple of others.
Singing, dancing, drinking, eating, in fact just like the caff and a great craque; goes on 'til late if you know what I mean.
Don't miss it, its better than the Racecourse!

ITS THE BIG RUGBY MATCH TODAY....ENGLAND V SOUTH AFRICA

Well, I've got two Cross of St George and one Union Flag displayed on the upstairs outside windows of my house overlooking the 21st green. Every South African golfer playing up the fairway see them so am doing my bit for Anglo/SA Rugby relations.

Actually, now that this is my home I shall have a soft spot for the Boks and really feel that they can beat England, we shall see.
Lets hope the referee is better than last weeks kiwi idiot and that the Boks play as they can for the full 80 minutes; if they do they'll win...
