Aye, best player in my lifetime. George Best. Never saw him rolling around like a big girls blouse, some hard men in his hey dey, they could never catch him. Heavier ball, atrocious pitches, didn't bother him. Like you say gf genius.

He was due to play at Cardiff for Fulham one New Year's Day and guess what .... he went awol.

Got no respect for him , total tw*t same as Gascoigne.

That's as maybe Dil, alcoholism is a pretty dire illness which robs a person of self respect and any sort of sanity. If you count your self lucky as I do to have witnessed the spectacle of Best in his prime years at Utd in the sixties. And shared the anticipation every time he got the ball (or dread if Utd were playing against your team), heard the females in the crowd screaming as they watched the magic that was George Best. Having witnessed that, the only conclusion that I share with millions probably, is what a bloody waste.

Gazza, incredibly gifted player but tuppence short of a shilling at the best of times drunk or sober. Everton fans loved him, though well past his prime when he came to Goodison class shone through when he got the ball. Ronaldo and Messie (spelt wrong probably) close but no cigar in comparison to George Best, in my very humble opinion of course :O)
