Alan wrote,

I cannot possibly divulge the information I have gathered over the last few weeks, but if only 10% of it is correct, this company will do very well.

Then he says,

I would never urge anyone else to, or to get in for the first time, or boost their holding.

Does not make sense, if he says SEO will do very well, then why say don't buy when the share price is so low. shall i wait for rights issue at 2.2

greekman - 18 Aug 2006 09:05 - 19066 of 27111

Aldwickk,

Yes very true. I don't post unless I believe it to be fact, or if speculation or opinion I state as much. Please don't think I was having a go it's just that most of these rumors are started by rampers/de-rampers who rely heavily on the said rumors being spread. They have their own agenda.
As to Alan's post.... I often state (again opinion) that I think a company will or not do well, but I also don't wish to advise punters to, buy/sell or hold although I do sometimes click on the buy/sell or hold icon as that is again showing what I would do.

hewittalan6 - 18 Aug 2006 09:09 - 19067 of 27111

Lets rephrase it for the benefit of the hard of thinking.
I have information that makes me very comfortable with SEO.
I cannot tell you what it is and because of that I would not force my investment decisions on anyone else.
If thats too hard I can write it in the style of Janet and John. Will that be easier.

Aldwickk keeps writing how this company is going bust, and cannot survive. So I'll ask again. If you are so certain, how big is your short???

WOODIE - 18 Aug 2006 09:25 - 19068 of 27111

i have no position in this stock either long or short and dont intend to but why some of you have to start on a grudge against each other i cant understand everyone is entitled to they own view wheather you agree with it or not and should respect that.

cynic - 18 Aug 2006 09:29 - 19069 of 27111

Welcolme back Eric.

hewittalan6 - 18 Aug 2006 09:35 - 19071 of 27111

Its called misrepresentation.
certain posters try very hard to misrepresent what is posted by another, for the purposes of mischief.
Even if I could disclose the information I have, I would not make a recommendation to anyone to buy this stock. Firstly the information is from non-regulated sources and secondly, it tells me very little of the short term price movements.
Finally, unlike many on here, I could be in serious trouble for making ANY recommendations at all!!
Hope that clears it up.
Alan

I'm riding out the storm.
This sure is nailbitingly exciting.
Good luck, pardners!
Yeehaw!

ian balchinn told me only 2 weeks ago that the funding issue was in hand and this week the FD rang me and said i am not worried about the cash position at the moment, and then the rns yesterday. the day i rang balchin i was selling until he told me that the funding issue was in hand, my broker has proof of me cancelling the sell order. i will ring him shortly to ask him why he has mislead me

treikiman - 18 Aug 2006 10:00 - 19074 of 27111

Has everybody forgotten about frogpack, i can recall about a year ago people on this board saying that it must be worth 25p on the sp...Asda with all there recycling must be looking at this for packing as well as GS..I believe Persil is the only one using Frogpack at the moment surely this should be taking of anytime now.

greekman - 18 Aug 2006 10:08 - 19075 of 27111

The bottom line is we all know that SEO have some great innovative products, and some of us still believe these products will come to fruition.
What we don't know is when, or even if they will run to ground prior to a steady inflow of cash.
We can surmise until forever, but one thing is certain. Seo have to get firmly on that upwards sales track by the end of the year or thats it.
OK the above is pretty obvious but the blunt facts have to be faced and stated.
That said, I still have faith, but the fuse is burning ever shorter.

pinnacle - 18 Aug 2006 10:09 - 19076 of 27111

ssanebs,

Forgive me for not fully understanding.

Who do you believe mislead you?

ssanebs - 18 Aug 2006 10:24 - 19077 of 27111

i told him that the funding issue was worrying me and at the current burn rate they would be out of cash in 6 months, to which he said i can assure you that the funding issue is in hand already, which was saying that they had already made arrangements. i rang my broker who was working my order as i hold so many, and cancelled the order even though he had sold some, which he reversed.

pinnacle - 18 Aug 2006 10:35 - 19078 of 27111

Thanks for that clarification.

This is my take of the situation for what it is worth.

The letters of intent will be subject to:

FDA approval, plus Stanelco raising enough capital to enable them to act upon any contracts awarded.

I believe they are nearly there and just need that little bit more time.

However,

The size of a rights issue is a concern - why would I want to put further money into a company without actual signed contracts?

My original investment is so depleted that only a miracle will save the day.

Many companies have had rights issues and moved on to great things - let us all hope that Stanelco is one of them.

Ssanebs - your concerns about accuracy of information given is worrying and I like you have had similar experiences.

Bugz - 18 Aug 2006 10:41 - 19079 of 27111

This confirms my expectation 2 weeks ago-we just need some bloody income or its stuffed!!

As I said to you Alan prior, if there are no orders until xmas, SEO will disappear in november. Its going to be a very close shave.......

robinhood - 18 Aug 2006 11:01 - 19080 of 27111

Do not worry about SEO. With all the statements-"on the cusp"-starpol 3000 fda appr. imminent-excl asda over etc there can only be some good news. Also with current shareprice and SEO patents it may well become a takeover target at a price well above current sp

driver - 18 Aug 2006 11:19 - 19081 of 27111

I agree seo have too much going on and dozens of products a take over is possible but not wanted, theres no chance of it disappearing or going under there are companies possibly a few hundred on the aim and the main that loose money year after year and are still there. Half of my portfolio is made up of them.

"FDA approval, plus Stanelco raising enough capital to enable them to act upon any contracts awarded"

FDA is probably just a formality as most of the components of 3000 is within 2000 which has approval. This is not a completely new product but an advancement on a previous one.

More the purpose of this post - Do we know they need substantial capital for MMFs? These are to be Joint Ventures and I believe it has been said that SEO are trying to get the JV partners to finance the MMFs. Apart from being good sence if it can be achieved, it goes along with SEOs desire to be an IP company sooner than a manufacturer.

Each time you post, you eloquently weigh up the percentage downsides and the upside with the conclusion that the odds are much more in favour of the upside for the potential investor. This occurred at mid 20ps, 13p, 8p and now circa 4p.

Don't knock a man for expressing his own opinion - especially if backed up with the reasoning.
