Welcome to MoneyAM

Bullshare - 22 Jan 2003 20:35

Welcome to MoneyAM.

Today sees the launch of MoneyAM, a bright new financial website for the smart investor. Our aim is quite simple: we aim to become the UK's leading web-based supplier of shares related content and data.

Streaming real time share prices, up to the minute portfolios, live city news, email alerts, bulletin boards, company fundamentals plus expert analysis supplied by the same award-winning team of journalists, analysts and researchers that produce Shares Magazine every week. These are just some of the great features that MoneyAM provides free to anyone who registers on the site.

Our premium paid for services are compelling and competitively priced and a must for the serious investor/trader. Unlimited level 1, FTSE indices, alerts, Premium market scan tools and the Traders Room (Bulletin Board) are just some of the extras on offer. Level 2 services will be coming to MoneyAM very soon!!!

We hope you enjoy using the site.

Regards

Mike Boydell
Managing Director

Cornwall is nice although it puts the blood pressure up with the thought of meeting a combine harvester nose to nose with a bin lorry following you.

Big Al - 05 Feb 2019 14:36 - 193 of 294

Not sure about the dark side folks. Not been on there for many years. It was just absolute mayhem for the most part.

Trying to remember if I started any of that mayhem or not ........... :-0 Suppose it depended if you had invested your life savings in BPRG or not. :-))

iturama - 05 Feb 2019 14:47 - 194 of 294

Or Langbar International. Only distinction of holding that was that it was the biggest fraud yet on the London exchange.

Hi,
22Jan2019 post isn't clear to me... does this mean "this" site is to be removed? That is, it will cease to be.... after 21 Feb 2019.... what a pity!
Some features (in particular Director Transactions ) have been revamped so I no-longer use them as the info is spread about. It used to be crystal-clear IMHO.
OR- are you suggesting the present free facility ( Share-prices delayed, comments, etc.) will not be available?
There is mention of special-deals for Shares ( by which it appears to mean an on-line Shares-magazine, via an on-line subscription; reduced for the intro-period ).
I buy "Shares" via Newsstand when available, but don't want to pay for delayed share-prices.... and "live share-prices" is not necessary for private/retail shareholders
like me... who seek to maintain a "watch" on my companies PLUS any in the News, etc. This priving is also available from LSE.
However, your MoneyAM "Home" page is my regular visit; for World-news that often misses the radio channels. I like the general Co-Chats as well.
Perhaps a Table of the Options could make it all clearer?

MDX , if I remember correctly you were the mayhem on that thread Al.

I'm glad I didn't get involved :-)

skinny - 05 Feb 2019 15:21 - 198 of 294

MoneyAm ex-Pats thread.

Dil - 05 Feb 2019 15:24 - 199 of 294

There is an old thread on ADVFN with the epic MAM that I brought back to the top you can use til skinny pulls his finger out :-)

Dil - 05 Feb 2019 15:25 - 200 of 294

Oh look he's woke up.

:-)

skinny - 05 Feb 2019 15:25 - 201 of 294

Oi!

hilary - 05 Feb 2019 16:27 - 202 of 294

Skinners,

Al was a lot younger back in the '80s.

:o)

Dil - 05 Feb 2019 22:08 - 203 of 294

Well that didn't take long ... already banned from the VRS thread for asking a simple question.

Big Al - 05 Feb 2019 22:33 - 204 of 294

Interesting skinny. Just went on there and had 3 goes at trying to remember my password from back then. I got on to be faced with a number of options that would cost me money. Hmm.

Dil - BPRG mayhem became MDX mayhem and then it died a death. I take it you still have the share certs?!?!?! ;-0

Hil - very astute. My name would now have the number 59 and in about 7 weeks it would be 60. Time flies when you're having fun............ :-))

Retired now and intend continuing to plough my own furrow in the markets. For those who are interested I use Sharepad with all the bells and whistles. Still not seen anything better in this past 20 years.

For those who have it, my email has been the same for about that same 20 years.

hilary - 06 Feb 2019 08:56 - 205 of 294

Al,

You been in touch with Ginge lately? He's doing very well.

skinny - 06 Feb 2019 08:57 - 206 of 294

Hilary - weren't we all!!

hilary - 06 Feb 2019 09:05 - 207 of 294

I was just a twinkle in my mummy's eyes back in the 80's, Skinners.

;o)

iturama - 06 Feb 2019 10:37 - 208 of 294

So you are posting under your mother's account, young Hilary?

Big Al - 06 Feb 2019 12:08 - 209 of 294

Hil - ??? Which Ginge is that? I live north of the border so we have a few!!!!! ;-) And I seem to remember we were about the same age. I assume we still are. LOL

hilary - 06 Feb 2019 12:40 - 210 of 294

I'm surprised at you, Al. I thought you'd know it's a woman's prerogative not to disclose her age!

Sorry, I was forgetting you're surrounded by haggis-munchers. The Ginge I was referring to is Treble.
