P thanks for the Lemon Drizzle, its lovely and very importantly for me its low calorie, in fact no calorie !

Lamby loved his slice as well.

hilary - 22 Nov 2004 17:37 - 19144 of 23498

Indeed, Jeff. Thanks anyway. They go like hot cakes.

Priscilla - 22 Nov 2004 17:46 - 19145 of 23498

I'm glad you liked the cake. Sorry it was still warm from the oven, but lamby said he liked caked before they had cooled completely. All the better with ice-cream.....

Socrates - 22 Nov 2004 20:05 - 19146 of 23498

Ah, bliss. Just had an hour out Chopin. Ambrosia for the mind.

optomistic - 22 Nov 2004 20:13 - 19147 of 23498

Nothin like a bit of chopin Socs. I'll settle now for a pint of Guiness and a slice of Priscilla's lemon stuff it sounds nice!

Socrates - 22 Nov 2004 20:27 - 19148 of 23498

Fair dinkum Cobber....... Oops sorry, broke out into Strine there for a moment.

optomistic - 22 Nov 2004 20:30 - 19149 of 23498

Done some time around the world then Socs.

Socrates - 22 Nov 2004 20:36 - 19150 of 23498

Not a lot Opto, just picked up a few phrases along the way. The usual sort of stuff like asking the price "Emma Chissit?" You know the sort of thing.

optomistic - 22 Nov 2004 20:40 - 19151 of 23498

That sounds like a similar famous Q in Barnsley..... 'OW MUCH' usually said with a great deal of expression

optomistic - 22 Nov 2004 20:49 - 19152 of 23498

I'll just pop another log on the fire and have a snooze for an hour in the fireside chair, feel as though I need it. Hope the girls are quiet when they come in.

Socrates - 22 Nov 2004 20:53 - 19153 of 23498

Opto
I'm not sure its that complicated. It's OK once you get used to the composite words they use to form phrases like "wassamarrabloo, donchaspeekstrine?" I think it may derive from Aborigine but I was very surprised to hear it spoken in Cheltenham, very cosmopolitan here.

little willie - 22 Nov 2004 20:58 - 19154 of 23498

I'm lost on the latest caff chat so not going to even try to work out what the hell you're all on about.

Hickey..thanks for the advent calendar, I expect you sent one to Jessie but I see its 2002???????? Not complaing too much and notice no wellies!

chocolat - 22 Nov 2004 22:02 - 19155 of 23498

IT'S A BIT QUIET IN HERE TONIGHT.

Spaceman - 22 Nov 2004 22:07 - 19156 of 23498

I am busy cataloging more CD's, doing E at the moment, many more Brian Enos CD's to do !

chocolat - 22 Nov 2004 22:12 - 19157 of 23498

What made you skip from B to L then, Spacie?
Are you doing E in the coffee house?

optomistic - 22 Nov 2004 22:16 - 19158 of 23498

Now that was a nice hour, feel nicely rested now. Reckon a cup of tea, a bath then of to bed. Who woke me up? Chocceeee!!!!

Spaceman - 22 Nov 2004 22:24 - 19161 of 23498

Chocolat, I did C and D earlier L was a test, when I sorted the CD's into piles for each letter it was a middlr size pile, B was the biggest pile. !!!

chocolat - 22 Nov 2004 22:26 - 19162 of 23498
