As a significant shareholder in Stanelco, I would welcome any information on a confidential basis that would increase my knowledge and calm my nerves!
The older we get the more the nerves creep in and sometimes doubt.
So: usi@hemscott.net is the email address for anything that would help.
All I want is for us all to succeed - there is enough trouble out there without creating it - in my opinion.

Oblo
Thought you were not talking to me? :-))
I'll make my own position perfectly clear:
I believe in Greenseal, Starpol etc.
SEO could be a very successful company if managed correctly and in a business like fashion.
If this statement is true. 'I'm happy to discuss anything with anyone anytime' then please do, rather than hiding behind ambiguity. Without doing so you leave your self wide open to accusations of ramp. Feel free to enlighten me and other posters with your recent found knowledge. Afterall that's why we all read and post.
I do think the SP has further to fall, dependant on how the very crucial working capital is financed.
I do not believe we will see a rocket like performance in the SP, even if deals are signed. The next set of Results are going to be dire, it will be these that dictate the future SP, the 'fizz', 'hype', 'BB darling' status has come and gone.
I detest in equal measure, rampers and bashers. Post a positive or negative view backed up by objective reason by all means but without that reason, you are either the former or the latter.

The only information that will change the picture here is contracts. And if you know that, you are guilty of insider trading. I assume the 'info' is akin to Stanelco being on 'the cusp.' Public equity funding because the instis don't want to know. For a potential investor the odds are simple; believe bb secret info or the evidence of the past year and a half of dismal mickey mouse management. Those hanging on from the dizzy heights of mid 20s will presumably hang on for dear life now anyway.

I, for one, know of no firm contracts. I wish I did, it would make me even happier. I can also say, hand on heart, that no-one I have spoken to knows of a single signed contract, and if there were one, then there would be an RNS on it. So reat easy zscrooge, Aldwickk and pinnacle. As far as I am aware, ther eis no contract. I am desperate for someone to prove me wrong though.
BTW Aldwickk. I will happily admit to an error of judgement in staying in on SEO while the price fell. i aint perfect, and I don't pretend to be. The bulk of my earlier research was RNS driven and not followed through properly. I have paid the price. I was about to get out when I spoke to my imagianry friend and he told me a few truisms about getting anything onto the floor at Asda and it made me think again. This sparked my second bout of research, which persuaded me to stay in. I may well be wrong again, and for that i will blame none but myself.
I'm big enough and ugly enough to take it on the chin, and admit when I am wrong. I still think the day will come when it will be otehrs admitting they were wrong (fat chance).

Interesting times
Hold ,Sell or Buy?
As someone who bought a while ago I will hold.
The reasons I bought a year ago still hold today. In fact you could argue that the situation is much improved with Starpol & Wrap added to the portfolio & attaining FDA status.
The only down side at the moment is lack of sales(but this could rapidly change).
As I have mentioned a number of times(in the past), for me this was always a long term (3 -5 year) play. You just don't come up with revolutionary changes to the packaging paradigm in a year (and get the big players onboard).
Previous management has been guilty of overegging the pudding & this led to the bubble in the SP & its deflation over the last year with a lack of orders.
If you cant afford to lose the money you should not invest short term in shares - especially ones like this.
It comes down to risk/reward.
If I were brave I would consider the current SP to be an excellent entry price.
However I shall wait to see if Cash flow becomes positive in the next 3 months before adding again.
Would love to know what has convinced Alan6,Oily & Oblomov of the future prospects.
Oblov in the past used to be quite a cynic so it must either be
a)Very good news
or
b) Damn good bluff to try & force up the SP
Keep the faith
SEO will reward all long term holders

There won't be any long term the way they are going, the company will be broken up and sold to the highest bidders at a knock down price.

After studying their books it would seem SEO did have one exceptional ability. Namely the ease with which they spent shareholders monies . lf perchance they find neccassary funds please immediately inform me of the lender. A fool and his money are easily parted.....et al ... .. Far from expanding this company is downsizing . Many of you on this thread seem to need warm words of comfort from other posters with informations they say they must withold to protect identities. . Oh spare me the bollocks !! lts utter tosh and methinks a case of either wishful thinking or some shinnagins ,, ...Management at Asda/WM must be laughing themselves stupid upon stumbling accross a company with such potential and such a derisory inept "amatuer" board , Mefiez-vous des appearances .on n'y voitue de feu.....@+ J

I'm toying with th idea of selling 310k shares and buying back lower, hopefully gaining 25%+, how do you rate my chances????
Still leaves me with a fair amount as its less than half of my holding, and knowing my luck it will be just prior to blast-off!!

Garyble,
I think the best advice is no advice. It's a case of 'you pays your money, you takes your chance'.

garbyle ..... if you want to make money on SEO, i reckon there is a better chance by shorting, but with a wide spread (aboutv 25% i think), that is also not easy ..... imo, and i have been consistent on this ever since i came acroiss the share, get out and stay out.

Greekman,
Not looking for advice just opinion, also the silence was deafening!
I am contemplating selling a few to buy back as these will continue to drift downwards untill we get positive news, or leak of same.
Decisions, decisions........

perhaps a shame that we are now in a paperless society where share certs are no longer issued, otherwise you might have accumulated enough to repaper the house!

Garyble,
Appreciate that.
I was not going to post, but as you say the silence was deafening.
I did though expect the rampers/de-rampers to come back to you.
Don't really see how advice re these boards can assist further. I think we have done the present situation to death. Whatever you do, buy, sell or hold, best of luck.
My opinion. I still think SEO will come good, but haven't a clue when.
I am no where near confident enough to buy more.
