Socrates - 29 Jan 2003 19:56 - 195 of 23498

Soya Latte! Yuk.

Golddog - 29 Jan 2003 20:05 - 196 of 23498

Lazy Days, Where have you been all my life?

jeffmack, Nothing wrong with two threads. The Tea Rooms are for those on this free BB and the Country Lodge is the more exclusive retreat for those on the Traders' BB where we serve finer food and drink. Anyway it makes things more interesting to pop between the two and they each have different selection of visitors. You can always just stick to the one thread if you wish if life is really that complicated for you!
The Trading Game will be run on this thread.
:-)

jeff, have you finished in the bath yet, i need the loo.

Socrates - 29 Jan 2003 20:11 - 197 of 23498

GD
How much is the membership for the CL? I do hope the side benefits are better than afn's PBB, dour lot over there.

Golddog - 29 Jan 2003 20:16 - 198 of 23498

Socks, Im not sure what you pay to Mam, but it's a 50 a day membership to drink at the Lodge and that includes a free drink and free service from Suzy the Italian waitress. Suzy in the jacuzzi is worth 50 on it's own! ;-)

vasey - 29 Jan 2003 21:01 - 199 of 23498

Take no notice, socks. I only come over to this side to talk to you. So, you'd be saving me at least one manicure a month if you'd sign up. How are you, anyway, you seem so quiet these days.

andycarr - 29 Jan 2003 21:21 - 200 of 23498

HI Vasey and Golddog

Thought I'd check out the tea rooms... to see how the other half live!!

Hope you both had a good day.

hightone - 29 Jan 2003 21:21 - 201 of 23498

GD you said "Country Lodge is the more exclusive retreat" but i am there !!!?

HT.

Ps I see the bulls soon left town and left their bollocks.

hightone - 29 Jan 2003 21:23 - 202 of 23498

Hi vasey hows it swinging ??.

HT.

Socrates - 29 Jan 2003 21:25 - 203 of 23498

vasey
In that case I'll open a special bottle, got your flute ready?

I'm very well thanks, been very busy at work and the markets are a bit frightening so not much to say. I see the Dow has closed up just a tad so maybe tomorrow will be, well, tomorrow! Also, I'm waiting for DYS to resume it's upward movement.

I missed a blinder on BULM. Everyone said it would bomb after the weekend announcement and so it came to pass. I just could not trade during the day so I missed a 12p bounce off the bottom. Would have made a lovely trade.

Are you doing OK?

vasey - 29 Jan 2003 21:26 - 204 of 23498

It isn't, but had a great few days anyway. When do we get your pony tips again? Cheltenham is soon isn't it?

vasey - 29 Jan 2003 21:28 - 205 of 23498

socks, any long these days is a nightmare, but DYS are holding up pretty well considering the sell off going on all around them. I'm speaking to their excellent FD tomorrow, so I'll let you know what he says. Good guy and very approachable.

hightone - 29 Jan 2003 21:37 - 206 of 23498

I can't show may face in the Fez anymore, not after the affair of the stoat and the gooseberry yogurt! I'll make a note of your tip though, might be worth a quick flutter.
