It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Chris Carson - 25 Jun 2013 23:04 - 1920 of 6918

Amazing what some countries will do to keep those Welsh twxts out eh? :O)

Dil - 26 Jun 2013 01:09 - 1921 of 6918

You wanna try harder Chris ... population of England and Wales 56.1 million of which 3.1 million are Welsh (5.5%).

Welsh teams in Premier League 2 out of 20 (10%).

Welsh invasion :-)

Dil - 26 Jun 2013 01:16 - 1922 of 6918

Stan , thats the official line .... nothing to do with trying to sign Ince and Wanyama and Kuyt.

You still touting Charlie for 7million ??? .... he wouldn't get in our reserve team :-)

Chris Carson - 26 Jun 2013 02:28 - 1923 of 6918

Aye Dil , but only 1 Welsh team will ever be on English soil every week in the Premiership. Unless both teams get to the final of FA Cup or that other Mickey Mouse Cup and I'd stake my house on that never happening this season. :O)

In other words the Countries ace goal-scorer ain't going anywhere.. yet -):

Joe Say - 26 Jun 2013 07:04 - 1925 of 6918

Serious question - why do we have welsh clubs in our league system when we (rightly) keep the scots out ?

Stan - 26 Jun 2013 07:18 - 1926 of 6918

Some of our colonies need development concessions? .. just guessing like -):

Dil - 26 Jun 2013 08:16 - 1927 of 6918

Cardiff and Swansea have at least six appearances between them at the new Wembley ... do Everton even know where it is Chris ? :-)

Stan , no one wants him.

Joe , it's because all the Welsh teams who have played in the English leagues didn't demand to be placed in the highest league on joining but earned the right. Celtic and Rangers walked away from talks in the 80's/90's after being told they would not be allowed to enter the highest league but would have to start in (the old) Division 2 I think. No one stopped them joining.

Chris Carson - 26 Jun 2013 08:44 - 1928 of 6918

Same place as it's always been Dil. What's that got to do with the price of fish? Don't recall EFC being involved in Championship play - offs. How many times have Cardiff played at Wembley in the FA Cup Final, Semi-Final or League Cup Final again?

Dil - 26 Jun 2013 08:56 - 1929 of 6918

3 in last 5 years , not bad for a team who has never played in the EPL.

Mr Euro - 26 Jun 2013 16:12 - 1930 of 6918

Nice pic dil but I jumped on the other buss, don't bent over :)

Dil - 27 Jun 2013 01:12 - 1931 of 6918

Aye and I'm Bin Landen from the corner shop , uck off u getting banned in a week :-)

Dil - 27 Jun 2013 01:13 - 1932 of 6918

PS ... I aint been banned or suspended from any internet site since you disappeared so read into that what you want :-)

Stan - 27 Jun 2013 06:49 - 1933 of 6918

Back to you lot, "nothing to do with trying to sign Ince and Wanyama and Kuyt." Can we keep that sort of comment to the joke thread please? -):

Dil - 27 Jun 2013 09:44 - 1934 of 6918

I know Stan , we have now been linked with enough players to field 3 Premier League teams if they all signed.

Negotiations with Messi and Ronaldo are said to be going well :-)

Stan - 27 Jun 2013 10:41 - 1935 of 6918

Should kick off next week contracts wise so they say, A real laugh until then as you say -):

Dil - 27 Jun 2013 15:06 - 1936 of 6918

Cardiff have signed Denmarks 20 year old 6'4" international striker Andreas Cornellius from FC Copenhagen for 8 million.

Stan - 30 Jun 2013 15:16 - 1937 of 6918

8 Million eh? that leaves just 16 million then for another 10 players -):

Well whada know.. Carduff are almost top of this league as well http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation

Dil - 02 Jul 2013 00:28 - 1938 of 6918

Burnley have today announced the signing of a new tea lady Ava Cuppa from Tesco Caffeterias United and have extended the contract of Abdulla the Grocer for the exclusive supply of meat pies for a further season. Contract talks with Mrs Mopp head of cleaning are still ongoing but she is still expected to leave after criticising the lack of new signings on the broom front.
