FTSE + FTSE 250 - consider trading (FTSE)

cynic - 20 Oct 2007 12:12

rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

for ease of reading, i have attached 1 year and 3 month charts in each instance

obviously heard you coming, so somewhat detumescent

217,

Some of the family have already poked me in the tummy to check me over and retiring to London to reappear after Xmas. While others are staying over or reappearing later.

My wife is very welcoming and more over a good cook and the kids know where I keep the bottle openers.

-===

If I am around in the summer, I am hoping the families will have another fortnight reunion in the Dordogne or Aix and I won't mind picking up the tab for the 8-10 or more of them.

As long as they help with the cooking and my grandchildren don't laugh at me if they beat me at chess.

I thought you two were going to buy so much stock you would create a rally all by yourselves.
I see the Dow is whimpering along.

DOW
it's actually popped about a bit, and if one had had the inclination, there were some good trades to make
i suspect trading is very thin and thus the movements exaggerated

Stan - 22 Dec 2015 15:34 - 19223 of 21973
