Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I also have been a long term supporter of the Conservative party (55yrs) and cannot now continue to associate myself with them.
Whether UKIP will be the answer remains to be seen but like you I seek a party who will stand by their word and for too many years now the Conservatives have failed me in this area.

M1 lorry accidents lead to long delays
In Northamptonshire a lorry shed its load of animal carcasses across the southbound carriageway, between junctions 15A and 16.

the police in the background are either
real and selling on their own behalf
or
impersonators selling on their own behalf
or
real and checking for street trader's licences

certainly a close resemblance to some of the market butchers one sees along the highways in the more remote regions of uae and similar

Why is Cameron frightened of the having a legal backing to a press regulation committee.
Has he had a promise from Rebecca?
--------------------------
The argument on keeping politics out of the argument and passing necessary laws is to late.
He has already dipped his fingers in, and politician are responsible for any new laws introduced and validated already.
Whether it on the legal profession, medical profession, financial services etc..
Is he being bullied by his mates?

i confess i haven't really bothered to follow this, but i dare say the "divergence of opinion" is that there is a fear of a slippery slope to losing freedom of speech (and the press) ...... for all that, i would not have thought it that fundamental to any particular party standpoint that one couldn't just allow a free vote
