Bunny Girl,

The greenback bears have been making so much between 7am and noon that they've been leaving it alone in the afternoons. Wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of bear closing ahead of Thanksgiving .... especially with intervention talk doing the rounds. Late Asian trade tomorrow could easily see the BoJ lobbing a few trillion Yen at it.

It's probably going to get rougher yet, Bunny.

Oil's heading back up and you've got those twin deficits which everyone is going on about. The hit a fresh all time high this morning and cable looks like it's heading up for a retest of 1.90. I don't really know why it sold down to 1.77 over the summer ...... cable carry trade has still got to be in favour. They're currently discounting any good news from the US and the anticipated Fed rise in December and our interest rates should rise further soon once they realise that consumer spending is not easing.

Hmmm we'll have to see how it progresses - I take it you're either
not touching it with a barge pole or you're shorting it?

I take a fresh Dollar position every day, Bunny. Mainly short recently, but I'll buy it if I think it's going to go up.
