Why? What did he do? Was he distantly related to Heisenberg?

Surely it should say, "Heisenberg probably lived here, but we don't know when".

hewittalan6 - 23 Aug 2006 11:02 - 19280 of 27111

How do you know it was spelled like that. Are you certain?????

Apparantely, boffins have managed to slow light down from 300 million metres per second to 91 metres per second. It's called 'slow' light.
Theres a halo of it around SEO headquarters, slowly dissipating.
Obvioulsly this distortion of the time/space continuum is the only sane explanation as to who seo are have taken sooooo long to get deals.

hewittalan6 - 23 Aug 2006 11:55 - 19285 of 27111

Ridiculous. Light doesn't travel at 300 million metres per second.
If it went that fast we wouldn't be able to see it!!
Scientists need a course in clear thinking, instead of this quantum continuinuinuum stuff and messing about with the fabric of the universe.

kimoldfield - 23 Aug 2006 12:28 - 19286 of 27111

I switched my study light on 30 minutes ago and it hasn't moved at all, thus proving that light doesn't travel.

SEO was once on this BB but perhaps that was tomorrow.
Question, would the NED of SEO ( Filkin) i think, have to ok the RNSs that are put out by SEO , i have read on BB that she won't stand for any (crap, or porky pies) if this is true it would be nice to get some kind of statement from her as to the real position of SEO

tweenie - 23 Aug 2006 13:00 - 19288 of 27111

automatic.
Having been clearly shown by interlects greater than mine, that light infact does not move and therefore all reality is a myth.
I can only conclude that therefore the NED you seek, is clearly incased in a field of dark matter and it will take a valiant cruader who champions enlightenment and truth to valiantly fight their way through the labyrinth of deceit and unlock this RNS you speak off, thus allowing the truth to be spoken once more across this barren landscape......................

Oilywag - 23 Aug 2006 13:20 - 19290 of 27111

If you are serious about contacting Elizabeth Filkin, then why don't you try: elizabeth.filkin@stanelco.co.uk or variations of that.

Let us know if the e-mail is returned undelivered.

automatic - 23 Aug 2006 13:38 - 19292 of 27111

Oilywag
E/mail sent & returned undelivered, so how do you contact her??

Tonyrelaxes - 23 Aug 2006 13:50 - 19293 of 27111

Auto
Try variations such as efilkin@ or ef@ or put dots or dashes in etc. The @stanelco.co.uk part is fine.
Otherwise Investor Relations dept at SEO should pass on emails to her, their address is investor-relations@stanelco.co.uk

automatic - 23 Aug 2006 14:11 - 19294 of 27111

Have ended up sending to investor relations, don't think i will get a satisfactory awnser ,we will see

automatic - 23 Aug 2006 14:31 - 19295 of 27111

Thank you for your email. We have noted your comments.

As we are a publicly quoted company, we are unable to comment on specific questions due to stock exchange rules. However, if we have any news to release to the market, it will be made through an RNS announcement. Our website will be automatically updated with this information".

Best regards

Sylvia

Did you ask them about Pauli's exclusion principle as it applies to hawking radiation from rotating black holes?

greekman - 23 Aug 2006 14:44 - 19297 of 27111

At a risk of getting back to semi SEO (not complaining as there was nothing else to talk about. A think tank of SEO holders could probably change the world (good or bad though, that's the question).
Re funding.....In my opinion the best way to go would be a short term loan.

Of course not knowing the full situation SEO are in, a short term loan may not be the least expensive.
Short term loan.
Advantages Quick to arrange, no dilution of sp.
Disadvantages Probable high cost of interest.

Funding re shares issue.
Advantages No interest cost to SEO.
Disadvantages Takes time to arrange, dilution of total shares value, cost re procedure, would probably take the sp down further.

Funding re a bond issue.
Advantages Similar to share issue.
Disadvantages Takes time to arrange, cost re procedure, and would anyone take them up.

Selling off an r&d product.
Can't see any consideration re this as if SEO are as confident in their products as they appear, it would defeat the object (leaving aside the cig filters) that we could do with a further update on.
The above are just my thoughts outloud, any opinions welcome.

soul traders - 23 Aug 2006 14:49 - 19298 of 27111

Greekman, if SEO go down the road of issuing a bond then I think a convertible would be most likely, as holders are going to want some substantial upside in return for the credit risk.

Unfortunately that brings you back to an issue of dilution, although if the bonds were convertible at, say, 10p then that would mitigate the dilutive effect considerably compared with current SP.
