Tadpole Evolves (TAD)

ainsoph - 23 May 2003 13:32

A new thread that may swim in hibernation for a few days or weeks as the process of evolution takes place ......

Imagine a slimmed down debt free company with one division stacked with orders and self financing with cash in the bank.

Then imagine a partner for the other division with pockets so deep that they could fund a rocket to the moon ..... and back

Dreaming of course but Tads can do that to you ..... what a gem or is that a bygone dream as well .....

rjs
why do u think the company (rumour) would be a US based one? Why not UK, or even Asian company?

rjs - 27 May 2003 14:19 - 194 of 729

because none of the UK co's are either a/ still afloat or b/ have any cash ;-)

Densil - 27 May 2003 17:00 - 195 of 729

Moneylender, TAD seems to put announcements out on Thursdays. So if there's anything in the rumours about a Partner appearing like a white knight on the horizon laden with bags of cash to give ole tadpole a helping hand along the road to fame and fortune, you might expect the trumpets to sound on a Thursday.
Just a thought, no inside knowledge or ramping hinted at or intended.

Moneylender - 27 May 2003 17:50 - 196 of 729

Hi Densil

Take your point about Thursday's.
I think with regard a partner, you are well ahead of yourself. I dont think
it is that imminent.

My timining is this.

1. Deal from Cartesia.
2. IM deal, POC should be complete.
3. App Express deals. This is a certainty software product.
4. Partner tie up poss. (several months away I think)

All of the above is just my interpretation of the way i see things. Like you no insider knowledge just hope!

Fugitive - 27 May 2003 18:59 - 197 of 729

Densil, I certainly didn't take that as ramping or inside knowledge, it's really anyone's guess. If you are holding lots of tads, then plenty of reasons to be getting excited - except that any news is now soundly priced in (consider the market cap) and the fact that TAD mms always like to take a few shekels from the punters from time to time.

I will wait for real news before investing in TAD. Might take a few months.

Dick dasterdly my good man, I am a little shocked to see myself filtered.
I have never knowingly upset anyone, so please accept my apologies if you feel I have somehow transgressed.

Moneylender,
Can't argue with your logic except for this:
Why did the intheknowbrigade start piling in last week?
And while I'm at it, why did the market makers peg the price back so hard today?

My view: Because the ITKB think there's news imminent?
Because the MM's promised the big buyer to deliver on pice?

Fugitive - 27 May 2003 20:08 - 200 of 729

All priced in, logically the price should retrace some.

F

ed. Densil, who on earth is the intheknowbrigade ??? Very strange expression indeed. On the TAD threads on this board I have seen precious few signs of anyone in the know. You are normally very quiet - you seem to have plenty of input now. Nice, very interesting to hear your views!

Densil - 27 May 2003 20:19 - 201 of 729

The ITKB are those who magically appear from the ether whenever a price moving event for TAD is about to appear.
They are probably chums of brokers and such but, if you care to correlate the buying and the BB's over the last few years, you cannot but come to the conclusion that either the posters on BB's say les than they know or that they/we're simply the suckers who provide the funds that the ITKB cream off by managing to buy at the bottom and sell into the rise so sucessfuly time after time, doing it two or three days before the news come through the official channels.

Sorry to go on for so long but I thought Post 200 ought to be more than a byline
Perhaps my input comes through more clearly because of the lack of Spam?

Sequestor - 27 May 2003 20:27 - 202 of 729

Hats off to all we genuine TAD holders who made a few bob today, now that the Chief is gone, smell the air, pure joy.

well done, er lets see now 59,523 x X = Y

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEH!!!!!!!!!

Fugitive - 27 May 2003 20:39 - 203 of 729

Still not certain Densil, are you saying that they appear on these boards? Certainly didn't notice them here on these boards last week, that's for sure. Just the opposite, most were strangely pessimistic about TAD including (wash my mouth out) you know who.

Watching the TAD boards over the last weeks and months I would say just about all "craftily leaked" pieces of TAD news have turned out to be completely false.

Even if we see news on Thursday, it looks like it should all be in the price by now, so a very bad time to buy IMO, especially with the price weakening. Time will tell...

If the news secures TADs future for the next few months, then I might put a toe in after the inevitable price fall.

Fugitive
,
Its the NEW mouthwash ,
you have had TCP, try NEW KDC, fresh from the monks at St. Ainsophs, they are struck with a new vow of silence from MotherAM, SHE the most strict of the Holy order, in future the halotosistic mutterings of the Chief, will be only allowed at the dreaded AGM,

hahahahahahahahha

haven`t laughed so much since he bgt. @84p,

WOMDERFUL

Densil - 27 May 2003 21:14 - 205 of 729

No they don't post here.
All we get here is Bollx from the Spammers and Postures from the Pocket Napoleons.
Occasionally theres a decent run of posts and debate and then a string of squelches takes all the life out of the thread.
Theres still some mileage in the breakout since it was both through a trend and out of an inverse head and shoulders although Williams levelled off today. If it turns down soon, the price will likely follow.

Pity about Ainsoph, at least he posted some decent market and bid information up. What did the whingers put up apart from flack?

Fugitive - 27 May 2003 21:54 - 206 of 729

Densil,

don't want to get onto the ainsoph topic - my opinion about him is somewhere above. That will answer you question if you care to look. We should just agree to differ.

I see TAD as overbought - so I expect a pullback. I will check on Thursday to see if anything has happened.

F

rjs - 28 May 2003 08:45 - 207 of 729

there may be news. that would be my guess, as somebody posted above there is always a buying frenzy before news comes out.

However, anoter reason for the rise may be as folows. We dont seem to have seen any GEM for a couple of dasy. the GEM trades recently were at 4.25p. The number of shares that arrived have been taken somewhere. If this "somewhere" stills requires stock - and there arnt anymore from GEM then the price has to rise.

Moneylender - 28 May 2003 08:48 - 208 of 729

Agree rico, and if there is news as well!
the sky is the limit.

rjs - 28 May 2003 08:48 - 209 of 729

I think a basic spelling course might be in order ;-)

Sequestor - 28 May 2003 08:57 - 210 of 729

I am watching this closely today, "hope" buying has boyed it for a few days
now, no news will mean a retrenchment, never forget shares move downwards three times quicker than up, one day could crunch the bid back to 4p`ish

snappy - 28 May 2003 10:28 - 211 of 729

This tad rally does appear to be based on some volume rather than the usual mm price hikes in response to some rns that they probably don't understand anyhow!

The push up has finally broken through the downward channel began at 33p which is positive so all in all it does look more positive for tad stock than it did just a few months ago.

A retracement cannot be ruled out but I would be surprised to see 4p again in the near term.

Good to see this board becoming a much more friendly place after decisive action by am.

Densil - 28 May 2003 11:11 - 212 of 729

Fugitive I'm happy to agree to differ. Nobody's perfect.
The chart still looks strong and the breakout secure.
I think we'll be going slowly north this week with lots of profit taking on the way as people dip in and out.
