aldwickk - 24 Aug 2006 15:28 - 19335 of 27111

tweenie,

Whats so funny about my post ?

StarFrog - 24 Aug 2006 15:38 - 19336 of 27111

I'm suprised that nobody has made comment on the following (or perhaps I missed it)

Since 2000, Stanelco's business model has transformed from a manufacturer and
supplier of capital goods into an intellectual property company with interests
in markets with significant growth potential, which include sustainable
packaging and environmentally responsible sealing solutions for the packaging
industry.

Think along the following lines: Royalties NOT packing machines - fabrication done elsewhere (fabricator adds mark up) - retailer now faced with mark up and royalty payment - potentially more expensive alternative to established packing machines.

I noticed somebody had mentioned ultrasonic packaging a few posts back. That's not your chief competitor. Ultra-violet packing, however, will be. This has the additional benefit that it also provides sterilisation.

Sorry!

StarFrog,

Yes you did miss it, but with so much info out there it's easy done.

waveydavey - 24 Aug 2006 17:07 - 19338 of 27111

Does anyone care to predict (hopefully somewone who actually holds these shares) , who low these will go. Will have 5k arond sept to reinvest.
I've been led to believe a possible recovery is on the cards.
Is this a ruse?
This is not a bash or a ramp. Just an honest enquiry.
Thanks for any replies.

greekman - 24 Aug 2006 17:16 - 19339 of 27111

Just an opinion, but I don't think anyone can predict.
If SEO don't get a contract of any note soon, they could go under.
If things come together, they could go sky high.
I know my 2 statements are obvious but these are the only 2 possible scenarios.
I bought these shares on a total risk basis, and although in my opinion they are very close to making it, we have been fooled before, so as said, an opinion, NOT a prediction.
Whichever way you go, best of luck.

Sharesure - 24 Aug 2006 17:29 - 19340 of 27111

Greekman, 3rd possibility that with a draft order contract/letter of intent from a sizeable customer they manage to persuade a bank to allow them to increase their borrowings for a further 3-6 months cash flow/burn. Difficult meeting for them to have but it might benefit all of us who hold SEO for the mgt to have some realistic strictures on them from a creditor to perform to a business plan. Alternatively, if Asda think so much of their products, let them advance some cash, after all they too share some of the blame for the delays in commercialising SEO's products.

waveydavey - 24 Aug 2006 17:46 - 19342 of 27111

Cheers. for that.
I think i'll wait and see what happens in sept.
I like the sound of this company- well its products anyway and from what i've read. i think they will be big , if they get over this hurdle.
even with all their problems, I can't see why they have dropped so drastically. Theres so many companies out there with 0 clients and 0 potential who have more money in bank???????
Makes 0 sense to me, makes even less sense to sell for peanuts.

hewittalan6 - 24 Aug 2006 17:47 - 19343 of 27111

At the current rate of decline, I think sub 3p is on the cards, maybe 2.5p at a push, but I think mid to late September will bring about a fairly swift recovery.
Guesswork on my part to some degree, but I doubt anyone could predict accurately. Those who think it will crash and burn, will say bust soon, or 1p because of fundraising. Those who, like me, think good things are coming very soon, will think the skies the limit and it will turn around anyday.
I think, honestly and with no ramp, that a slide to mid September is most likely and then a push north, providing the finance issue is put to bed by then.
There you go. I might be very wrong but at least i've got the balls to predict, so you can all cut and paste this in a few weeks time and point out what an arse I am.

Mad Pad - 24 Aug 2006 17:55 - 19344 of 27111

Getting tempted again at this price, must be worth a punt.Glad to see you've still got balls Alan , mine are hanging outside the pawnbrokers , at least they are gold.

Oilywag - 24 Aug 2006 17:58 - 19345 of 27111

Or even a smartarse ...... maybe!!!

Do you do smug well Alan?? If so I'd still polish it up, just in case our hopes come to fruition.

The oily one

Tonyrelaxes - 24 Aug 2006 18:04 - 19346 of 27111

zscrooge

That last fridays IC?
Or do you have an advance copy of tomorrows?

If the first what took you so long to consider it worth posting?
If the second, I (and IC) would be interested in hearing how you got it.

Mad Pad - 24 Aug 2006 18:15 - 19347 of 27111

Didn't see it in last weeks.

hewittalan6 - 24 Aug 2006 18:15 - 19348 of 27111

Oh I'll do smug very well, Oily, if I'm right.
Based on the timescales of every bit of news that ever came out of SEO, though, the real test is seeing which September I'm thinking of ;-)
But hey, what the hell. If I'm wrong, so what, its only a guess. if I'm right I can probably start my own religion!!! Not bad odds.
Alan

hewittalan6 - 24 Aug 2006 18:17 - 19349 of 27111

One other thing. Every time that site that Aldwickk posted yesterday, every time Shares Mag, every time IC posted a buy on SEO, it plummeted. I am very happy to read them all posting sells.

greekman - 24 Aug 2006 18:17 - 19350 of 27111

Sharesure,

I don't disagree with you. My comment "If SEO don't get a contract of any note soon, they could go under". Soon would be within 3 to 4 months.

WOODIE - 24 Aug 2006 18:18 - 19351 of 27111

tony hes got the name of the mag wrong there all on page 50 of todays shares i posted a paragraph from the piece earlier.

tweenie - 24 Aug 2006 18:19 - 19352 of 27111

WD. hang on and see.
Like alan says, i think one way or other sept will be a crunch month- expect asda will launch something, also expect news from u.s.
it's your own money -so do as you see fit.
all the best
