Getting tempted again at this price, must be worth a punt.Glad to see you've still got balls Alan , mine are hanging outside the pawnbrokers , at least they are gold.

Oilywag - 24 Aug 2006 17:58 - 19345 of 27111

Or even a smartarse ...... maybe!!!

Do you do smug well Alan?? If so I'd still polish it up, just in case our hopes come to fruition.

The oily one

Tonyrelaxes - 24 Aug 2006 18:04 - 19346 of 27111

zscrooge

That last fridays IC?
Or do you have an advance copy of tomorrows?

If the first what took you so long to consider it worth posting?
If the second, I (and IC) would be interested in hearing how you got it.

Mad Pad - 24 Aug 2006 18:15 - 19347 of 27111

Didn't see it in last weeks.

hewittalan6 - 24 Aug 2006 18:15 - 19348 of 27111

Oh I'll do smug very well, Oily, if I'm right.
Based on the timescales of every bit of news that ever came out of SEO, though, the real test is seeing which September I'm thinking of ;-)
But hey, what the hell. If I'm wrong, so what, its only a guess. if I'm right I can probably start my own religion!!! Not bad odds.
Alan

hewittalan6 - 24 Aug 2006 18:17 - 19349 of 27111

One other thing. Every time that site that Aldwickk posted yesterday, every time Shares Mag, every time IC posted a buy on SEO, it plummeted. I am very happy to read them all posting sells.

greekman - 24 Aug 2006 18:17 - 19350 of 27111

Sharesure,

I don't disagree with you. My comment "If SEO don't get a contract of any note soon, they could go under". Soon would be within 3 to 4 months.

WOODIE - 24 Aug 2006 18:18 - 19351 of 27111

tony hes got the name of the mag wrong there all on page 50 of todays shares i posted a paragraph from the piece earlier.

tweenie - 24 Aug 2006 18:19 - 19352 of 27111

WD. hang on and see.
Like alan says, i think one way or other sept will be a crunch month- expect asda will launch something, also expect news from u.s.
it's your own money -so do as you see fit.
all the best

bhunt1910 - 24 Aug 2006 18:31 - 19353 of 27111

I still hold

Nealo - 24 Aug 2006 18:35 - 19354 of 27111

Me too - still have just under 2m shares - and starting to regret not taking action sooner.

I think shit or bust now - either way I loose too much if I sell now so might as well hold on and hope that there is a recovery underway

waveydavey - 24 Aug 2006 18:50 - 19355 of 27111

I had a look at stanelco devisland.
i appreciate that he may have ramped this share to death, but the research links are helpfull.
I noticed the forums on his own site have been locked down?
I think this is a bit cultish. Whilst I appreciate he came in for a lot of stick re this share. i think it's a bit much to put up a wall and gather your flock in a cave.
Am i the only one who finds this strange , or is their a reasonalbe explanation, that i've missed?
anyway, thanks for all the comments, I could'nt resist dipping in today. will hold off ,buying more till sept as suggested. thaNKS

patel04 - 24 Aug 2006 20:17 - 19356 of 27111

who still long on SEO?'
im still holding

zscrooge - 24 Aug 2006 20:43 - 19357 of 27111

Relax Tony - just got the name wrong. Agree with Alan re share tips anyway (pro or con) but then that didn't stop the bullishness when rhps and shares mag were recommending these in the 20s. And that goes for EVO buy notes too. Alan's summary seems about right too - on the surface bust but who knows, that 'info' might just come good in mid September.

andysmith - 24 Aug 2006 21:11 - 19358 of 27111

As most people still holding shares will inevitably be holding paper losses nobody can advise what to do now, it depends on the individual and how deep the shit is.
As for buying, topping up etc, IMO, I would wait for the fundraising, they will only get the cash or backing IF they can provide solid foundations that they are very close to a substantial deal that will provide profitable revenues. If that is the case it should be worth a dabble as there are many examples of companies who aimed too high too soon & end up in deep shit but eventually come through and SEO could be another as the potential is still there for Starpol & Wrap, it just needs delivering. The problem that I see is that even if they get deals/orders they need JV's to manufacture the products and maybe, just maybe this is where the saviours of SEO are, companies who could also profit from manufacturing products using SEO's IP??? and such companies will be in even stronger positions to negotiate now that it is public knowledge how skint SEO are but maybe that is why they went public, to speed up any negotiations before they go the wall.
How much money will they need? Institutions probably won't get involved so its down to the faithful public to rescue their baby (if there is enough time) or a partner who can exploit SEO's perilous position and cream off a larger share of potential profits than they would have if SEO's management had been more experienced, realistic and focussed in their aspirations.

lts a long time since i was a holder and over a 1000 posts ago so l not as up to date as most on this thread : a thread which has among its number many errudite, learned individuals....l apologise. ..Looking at the company fundementally it looks fiscally dire.{ which is self apparent.}. From a chartists vantage point even more dire . Yet at this level i see it as utterly pointless in selling. Returns would be derisory for those who bought even as low as 5p let alone 20p .But you cant ignore the mechanics of a market and today selling outstipped buying by a ratio of 4~ 1 so mms lowered the offer price ato encourage buying and yet selling continued unabated. l thought it was never going to stop. .............l suspect tommorow { Friday } will see more of today ............................................................................. Like ARX before it ,and CDN before that, SEO has proven juste how divorced the s/p can be from the companies true market valuation as a consequence of ramping ,inept research, flagrant ignorance, and mind games played by mms . For those who held at the 26-30p level and didnt sell ignored EVERY basic rule in the book. SSSSHHHH , The stock was sitting on a spike so vertical it was frightening ! and many rational, SANE,reasonable men from this thread planned a dinner when the stock hit 50p ...... ,,,This isnt a case of "l told you so " as i hate seeing people lose monies . lts a case of dont be so bloody greedy next time, and ALWAYS play the percentages !! At best this stock is in for a rocky ride and a definite begging bowl job and @ no higher than 2p causing not only a dilution but massive overhang of stock.....millions @2p....and years among the bargain basement junk stocks....At worst .Temporary Admistration giving it breathing space to sort out affairs . . ..@+ J
