Hello Vasey, you must have forgotten that secret supply that only you and I know about. There's a tun of the stuff in there (and that's not a spelling mistake!).+4.5p today!

HT
No, I didn't get into IQE, all my spare dosh is wrapped up in DYS. I took the advice of someone who knows all about Bollinger Bands and his prediction came to pass.

hightone - 22 Aug 2003 17:35 - 1937 of 23498

came to pass on what and are you up on it ?? they was tun of the stuff just a few kilos now.

His prediction was a breakout on the upside for DYS, it achieved 18.5p rise yesterday and another 4.5p today. So far I am 29% ahead. Add to that divi 4.1p/share due on 1st Sept.

You will never empty that tun, it's connected to a very deep champers well, the only on in the UK.

hightone - 22 Aug 2003 20:34 - 1939 of 23498

Old socs could you ask them for view on IQE and CRX based on that bolinger bottle chart cheers have a good weekend

HT.

Ps good luck.

vasey - 22 Aug 2003 21:34 - 1940 of 23498

Socs: another great day for DYS - and I found the secret stash of bubbly, thanks!

Re-read the accounts again this evening, in preparation of the Great Trip North next Friday. All good stuff. It may take 3-5 years before the real money starts coming in - but this week has been a good start.

Cheers!

IQE is past it for the best Bollinger indication. It showed the typical narrowing of the bands before the breakout. If I had seen it before the break I would definitely have been in at the start. Momentum looks good so far and there is talk on another BB that it could go way up. 10 was mentioned but I think that is wishful thinking, still, who knows?

I had a look at CRX myself, learner that I am, but I didn't see the same narrowing of the bands that IQE had. The bands are narrowing a bit and the indication is it's been a bit oversold. I'll keep an eye on it and if anything looks interesting I'll let you know.

Vasey
I'm very pleased you found the bubbly, DYS deserves it. I've been trying hard to think of a question for the AGM but can't think of anything intelligent. I suppose I would really like to know more about their efforts and prospects with Carolite. That could be huge volumes if it goes into full production for hard disks.

Jeff
Sharecrazy I believe. The site is down at this minute so can't get in to confirm it. Are you working?

For your info, I am into Bollinger Bands as an buy/sell indicator. One of the best indicators I've seen so far. Have a look at PHP and EXD.

EXD due a break, but not sure if it is to the upside, I think it is but a bit of a gamble.
PHP just breaking to the upside now, may be able to get in for a quick profit on Tuesday unless I see anything better.

Socs
No work today. Had Dentist lunch time...ouch

Socrates - 23 Aug 2003 16:34 - 1946 of 23498

Jeff
Would you care to rephrase that?

jeffmack - 23 Aug 2003 16:54 - 1947 of 23498

Socs
She is rather sweet, but she only want me for my teeth. I have been dashing around getting wifes birthday pressie for tomorrow and getting food and drink for a BBQ for 20. What you been up to?

Socrates - 23 Aug 2003 17:11 - 1948 of 23498

Jeff
Walked into town, it is sweltering here, had lunch in Waitrose. Nothing but the best here! Apart from that, been wading through charts by the dozen. I've been using Bigcharts Java, fantastically fast. No sooner selected than Bingo! The chart is there. As per usual I have nothing planned and I will stick rigidly to my plan. Updated anti-virus, updated Windows ME, all exciting stuff isn't it?

jeffmack - 23 Aug 2003 17:17 - 1949 of 23498

You certainly live life on the edge Socs

hightone - 23 Aug 2003 17:19 - 1950 of 23498

Old socs you never did say which bb there was talk of 10 IQE

cheers if you could say which one (-:

Oh yes I did. Unfortunately I put it in a reply to Jeff, he probably thought I was babbling again. I wouldn't rely on it, I think it was just a bit of wishfull thinking because I can't see how it could possibly be predicted at this stage. It would rely on some collective madness in my opinion, but it has happened before.

Jeff
There's nothing like adventurous living, for others.

I'm pretty sure the quote was on Sharecrazy. I can't find it now as it could have been anywhere on any thread. If I do come across it I will post a link.

hightone - 24 Aug 2003 10:40 - 1953 of 23498

Well cheers old socs I thought that 10 was a bit on the low side as when this strained silicon takes of it will be more like 50 (-; remember who told you that 1st.
