st.
I think the major obstacles have been overcome- re-getting products to market. if everything that me and others are hearing comes to past (within next month) then all this will be forgotten.
As always DYOR. I've had plenty of practice wipeing egg off my face.
LOL

soul traders - 25 Aug 2006 13:16 - 19383 of 27111

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade if they're thinking of buying today (apologies to Tweenie re his last-but-one post), but is it not plausible, as far as the smart money is concerned, that today's modest tick-up is the result of people covering their short positions after the 33% drop of the last couple of weeks, rather than the all-out screaming "buy" signal that so many are hoping for? Even if the timing of the tick-up is such that it appears to contradict the "sell" advice given by all the mags, I'm not convinced it's an indication of an imminent grabfest for contrarians.

I'm with Alan - sub 3p is very likely, possibly 2.5 is on the cards.

soul traders - 25 Aug 2006 13:18 - 19384 of 27111

Tweenie, I hope so - somehow though I think there will be plenty of opportunity to get in when good news is announced. Or is it going to go ten-bagger overnight and I'll be left having to read "told you so" posted 20,000 times on this thread?

tweenie - 25 Aug 2006 13:22 - 19385 of 27111

I think 10p would be a start.
LOL
(I would never dream of gloating) -- well not on this bb anyway :-)))))))))

Oilywag - 25 Aug 2006 13:34 - 19386 of 27111

tweenie

There are some who would say that SEO is Disneyland!!

Lol(ling about)

The oily one

tweenie - 25 Aug 2006 14:03 - 19387 of 27111

I think my kids would take a bit of persuading.
A wirlwind ride on the RF express or a walk through the STARPOL castle does'nt quite cut the mustard.
lets hope it does'nt become like DREAMLAND/area 51 and everyone denies knowledge or ownership!!!!
LOL

greekman - 25 Aug 2006 14:16 - 19388 of 27111

Tweenie,

A brave man there, Gungerdin (if you don't know the saying, your too young).
Best of luck.

Mad Pad - 25 Aug 2006 14:55 - 19389 of 27111

Zscrooge how did you manage to get todays IC yesterday?Time travel or bent newsagent?

Tonyrelaxes - 25 Aug 2006 15:15 - 19390 of 27111

MadPad - He was confused between IC and Shares despite both mags printing their name on every page and very large on the front!

With that attention to detail, or quality of reporting, I remain circumspect as to his posts, both in content and motive.

Mad Pad - 25 Aug 2006 15:24 - 19391 of 27111

Really, I havn't seen Shares but IC also has a buy recommendation for Party Gaming on the same page as its sell rec for SEO .Coincidence or what?

soul traders - 25 Aug 2006 15:52 - 19392 of 27111

Mad Pad, is that not further proof (if needed) of the herd mentality amongst investors? ;O)

Mad Pad - 25 Aug 2006 16:08 - 19393 of 27111

More to do with the fact of how all these mags feel obliged to follow the same "popular shares".

zscrooge - 25 Aug 2006 16:12 - 19394 of 27111

LOLs gents! Notwithstanding, both mags have a sell recommendation (for whatever that's worth). My attention to detail occurred when this was being ramped in the 20s with a ridiculous market cap based on fundamentals.

Mad Pad - 25 Aug 2006 16:33 - 19395 of 27111

Sell rec. in 2 mags and the price goes up.Time for a pint.

Stanelco readies for restructure and revamps rolls

Stanelco is restructuring its business in preparation for the long-awaited roll-out of its Greenseal technology.
After 18 months as COO, former Sainsbury packaging executive Terry Robins is standing down. Robins is one of 10 departures, although the only one at board level.
Meanwhile, the firm has hired an interim sales director and an interim project director as it gears up for the UK and US launches of Greenseal.
According to Stanelcos CEO Martin Wagner, the changes mark a change of emphasis for the company. We are moving out of R&D and into commercialisation, he said.
Stanelco has also extended its exclusivity deal with Asda until the end of this year. The original deal was signed last May, however, during that period, further R&D was required as Asda requested the addition of a print station.
Wagner also confirmed that Stanelco is in talks with Asdas US owners Wal-Mart.
Robins will continue to work with Stanelco, but in a consultancy role.

whats a print station any one?
thanks lindos

kimoldfield - 25 Aug 2006 17:22 - 19398 of 27111

Lindos, I understand that print stations are used for labelling food packages or directly inking on to the food wrapping; PET is suitable for receiving ink directly. However DYOR to be sure!

Butane, thanks for the info.

Thanks Kim/Butane
Lindos

hewittalan6 - 25 Aug 2006 18:54 - 19401 of 27111

The print one is a new one on me, but thanks for that.
I will assume that it could be one of the delays to roll out. The machine could package nicely, but stick on labels may be an issue.
No date on that, but if it is recent, then it is a good sign.
