Agree . The security in the hospital has let her down. How could an outside call go to the ward and a normal nurse answer? Perhaps they should go on trial ?

A hospital nurse caring for the Duchess of Cambridge, who was duped by two DJs pretending to be the Queen and Prince Charles, is understood to have committed suicide.

Two Australian DJs pretending to be the Queen and Prince Charles tricked the woman into giving an update on the condition of Kate, who was being treated for severe morning sickness.

The member of staff was found at an address near the hospital.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 9.35am this morning to a report of a woman found unconscious at an address in Weymouth Street, W1.

"London Ambulance Service attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Inquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances of the incident.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage."

London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 9.25am to an address in Weymouth Street. We sent 2 ambulances crews and a duty officer, sadly the patient was dead at the scene."

I am sure the intention of their DJs' action was to produce the result which occurred.

I wonder what other factors and "support" played a part in the nurses demise.

Outside chance it was nothing to do with the prank Fred. It will all come out in the wash as they say. Very sad though.

A few years ago a radio presenter got through to the Queen and pretended to be the Canadian Prime Minister. The queen discussed what she thought of a number of world leaders. it was being broadcast live on Canadian radio.

I am very sorry for Kate and partner.

The association for them may be "painful".

Also, sorry for the nurse's family and friends.

Kate will be shocked Fred. I heard the prangster tape on the news and I am only guessing it sounded like a philipino nurse answered to the djs. May be wrong.

This can only be described as an utter tragedy, so very sad for the nurse and her family.

I do not blame the nurse involved , as said an outside call should never be taken by a nurse.

My father is on the end of the middle row on the left next to the Queen's detective. Interestingly, the very tall guy in the middle two rows behind the queen is princess Di's father. It was taken in 1953 on the HMS Gothic on the royal tour of the commonwealth after the coronation.

It is a picture of the Royal Household.

Interesting H that princess Di's father should be in the photo.

He looks just like her brother. They used to call him 'Johnny boy'.
