Trying to send a picture to someone and this appears?
The host 'SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'POP3', Server: 'SMTP', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Your email setup appears to be wrong Dailos, in particular the SMTP server name. Go into Tools/Accounts and check that the details are correctly set up (the ISP will have instructions on doing this).

You start Outlook Express and then look at the top of the window...

Now I'm confused Dailos, what are you using as your mail program? Or have you been using webmail (mail on a web page) up to now?
The icon for Outlook Express should be under Start/Programs.

I click on a photo i took and press "send to mail recipient" an Outlook Express window opens, i type in an e-mail address and press send and then i get the error message.
I can confuse the best of them Kayak, i would love to be more computer literate but dont ever see myself going to lessons.

Well it sounds like your Outlook Express is not set up properly. I'm guessing that you don't use it to send your other mail since you don't know how to get into it :-)

D instead of using send to mail recipient, just open your normal mail program and drag the file into the mail then drop it in the blank email, add the ddress as normal and send.
Your using something other than Outlook express as yoiur main prog but the send to mail recipient want to use OE.

This might sound really silly, but if Dailos can't send his piccie to one of his friends because he hasn't configured his e-mail program, how will he be able to send it to JT instead?
:o)
Could the answer be that Dailos uses 2 computers (like many on here)? And might it be that he has his e-mail program installed on only one of those PC's (I do)? And might it be that the piccie that he is trying to send is on the other PC?

Try Uninstalling both your Graphics Card and Monitor(s) and then just re-boot.
Windows will automatically find these pieces of hardware again and re-load them properly back onto your system.
You can do this by right clicking on the 'My Computer' icon on your Desktop.
Select 'Properties'
Select 'Hardware'
Select 'Device Manager'
etc, etc
I'll take a guess this should sort you out. If it doesn't we need to think again. If we do, then a good bet would be to do with 'Overheating' but the stuff above is well worth doing first, anyhow.
