Oh yes I did. Unfortunately I put it in a reply to Jeff, he probably thought I was babbling again. I wouldn't rely on it, I think it was just a bit of wishfull thinking because I can't see how it could possibly be predicted at this stage. It would rely on some collective madness in my opinion, but it has happened before.

Jeff
There's nothing like adventurous living, for others.

I'm pretty sure the quote was on Sharecrazy. I can't find it now as it could have been anywhere on any thread. If I do come across it I will post a link.

hightone - 24 Aug 2003 10:40 - 1953 of 23498

Well cheers old socs I thought that 10 was a bit on the low side as when this strained silicon takes of it will be more like 50 (-; remember who told you that 1st.

Socrates - 25 Aug 2003 09:48 - 1955 of 23498

Good day all. Today I shall think about going out and enjoying myself.

Socrates - 25 Aug 2003 10:47 - 1958 of 23498

Jeff
I only said I was thinking about going out! As it happens I've decided to walk into Cheltenham for some exercise, so I've just been told. See you later.

Hi Hightone, super spread bet, I bet there is something in the samll print says you won't win though.

hightone - 25 Aug 2003 21:51 - 1959 of 23498

Socrates - 26 Aug 2003 16:58 - 1961 of 23498

Evening all.

vasey - 26 Aug 2003 17:11 - 1962 of 23498

hello socs! Another blue day for you-know-who!

Socrates - 26 Aug 2003 17:46 - 1963 of 23498

Hi Vasey. Yes, a good day for me too. All of my big holdings, except WGG, well in the blue. Dyson is really going better than I thought because I put it in my portfolio as a medium term 'safe' share. Now it seems it may be a multi-bagger with the potential to attract a big player to take it over.

Happy days.

jeffmack - 26 Aug 2003 18:02 - 1964 of 23498

Socs
PDX on the up, did you get in?

Socrates - 26 Aug 2003 18:25 - 1965 of 23498

Jeff
No haven't got in as yet. Been busy chasing my current winners. Last time I looked PDX had dropped a little, I assume it is rising once more.

I was just reading that bullion is booming, I may have to look at GOL again. So many calls on my investment cash at the moment that it is hard to decide where to put it, the money that is.

Socrates - 26 Aug 2003 20:39 - 1966 of 23498

I'm back!

What do you mean, you hadn't noticed I'd gone, cheek! I've been out trolley racing at Tesco's. Her indoors asked if I owned any TSCO, I had to say I'd not even considered it, funny that. Spend a fortune there every week and not a thought to whether I should buy it.

jeffmack - 26 Aug 2003 21:10 - 1967 of 23498

Socs
Dont let her indoors see your portfolio

Socrates - 26 Aug 2003 21:13 - 1968 of 23498

Do you mean the one with the shares or the one with the pictures?
