Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Spaceman - 11 Mar 2005 18:40 - 1954 of 24230

P was it one of those gowns with no back? I had to wear one of them once when I was having some x-rays.

Indiana - 11 Mar 2005 19:41 - 1955 of 24230

Went missing again, back now. When you are an alchemist you can disappear quite easily.

Hey! Fundamentalist, a pickaxe and spade, steady on there, that's far too heavy handed and on the ground floor too. Shame!

Indiana - 11 Mar 2005 19:44 - 1956 of 24230

Got to disappear again now, see you later.

chocolat - 11 Mar 2005 20:55 - 1957 of 24230

Time to relish the hammock all by myself...I know, the novelty will soon wear off. And I bet the bugger sneaked off with all the Armagnac too.

Speaking of hospital cases, I thought my mother was one today...turns out she's been ODing on the old sleeping tablets. Not convinced yet though..

And as for Fridays, Spacie - there are times when not one of the three of us in the office (and that includes Mr Grumpy) is capable of answering the phone in the afternoon, cos we're always convulsed in a heap..

Fundamentalist - 11 Mar 2005 21:57 - 1958 of 24230

Evening all

Indy - 1 day youll stick around long enough for a conversation

optomistic - 11 Mar 2005 22:45 - 1959 of 24230

Just popped in for a quick 'fix' run out at home :-( Start with a Guinness then have a look to see what's about.

little willie - 12 Mar 2005 06:18 - 1960 of 24230

Just caught up on news, as Dave Allen always ended his show
"May YOUR god go with you" - let's hope hope his does, funny man.

Cilla, v.sorry to hear about your ear troubles but love the descriptive way you make light of it; suppose they didn't have to shave you lower down!
They seem to want to, any excuse...lol...minds just wandering...who said that?
What? Speak up!

Also like the thought of you wandering around in one of those backless gowns several sizes too small....yea...sounds good to me..........

Anyway, I bet if I whispered across a crowded floor " Would you like a glass of Bollie?" You'd hear!!

Spaceman - 12 Mar 2005 07:09 - 1961 of 24230

Morning all, woke up to bright sunshine in Hastings, really nice as it was pissing down when I went to bed. Nice to see the sun.

A quick coffee then I have to drive 20 miles to pick up a parcel, nice that these courier companies have such local depots.

Socrates - 12 Mar 2005 08:31 - 1962 of 24230

Good morning all.

Spaceman
You know you shouldn't blame the nice service provider, it's your fault for not being at home 24 hours a day. LOL Besides if it's such a nice day, a 20 mile jolly will be very nice for you.

I must start thinking about breakfast.

Spaceman - 12 Mar 2005 09:14 - 1963 of 24230

Socs, I wasnt at home this time, but this lot have often claimed to have tried to deliver something when I was there, they also claim to have left notes, they have done this many times and they are not telling the truth. I think its a scam to to try and get customers to collect and saves the couriers from the 40 mile round trip !

Socrates - 12 Mar 2005 10:08 - 1964 of 24230

Spaceman
Complain to the vendor and tell them to use another courier in future.

So far, so good after the op. Given the only reason I had to go back in yesterday was as a result of a hospital-acquired infection after the last op at the end of December, it seems my consultant micro-vacuumed all the infection, replaced every bit of the 'engineering' and checked and double-checked everything before 'signing me off' to 'Recovery'. If nothing flares up by Monday morning, I'll be booking plane tickets all next week!

I was starting to feel like a naughty child who had been 'grounded' until I was prepared to write a fullsome apology to Granny for my shameful behaviour.

Socrates - 12 Mar 2005 14:23 - 1967 of 24230

Naughty child, want a spanking then? Tee hee.

Spaceman - 12 Mar 2005 14:58 - 1968 of 24230

Socs, I have complained several times before but they dont seem to want to know, I guess they must have a very good deal with them and they dont care.

P sounds promising, any idea when you will be wellenough for a Lemon Drizzle Cake?

I was watching the telly earlier on and saw an advert for Mr Kipling's cakes. Take a wild guess which cake they feature, Spaceman!

Monday afternoon, if stocks arrive. Say 'hello' to lamby for me.

optomistic - 12 Mar 2005 19:14 - 1971 of 24230

Ooooh this hammock is still warm, reckon I'll have half an hour in here :-)

optomistic - 12 Mar 2005 19:50 - 1972 of 24230

Now that was a very nice half hour, lonely but nice.

Spaceman - 13 Mar 2005 00:19 - 1973 of 24230

my turn in the hammock, where did all those curly hairs come from??
