Big Al - 26 Nov 2004 22:26 - 19600 of 23498

Yeah - will take the plunge 3 weeks today. Think my attendance at the Xmas do is now pure fantasy so will inform IanT Monday. Really enjoyed last year's, but I'm just not going to be able to fit it in unfortunately.

chocolat - 26 Nov 2004 22:27 - 19601 of 23498

Well, that's the office cleared up, time to push off before I nod off again..the weekend's finally started. :)

chocolat - 26 Nov 2004 22:28 - 19602 of 23498

Oh that's a shame, you always seem to find an excuse :)

Big Al - 26 Nov 2004 22:32 - 19603 of 23498

You still working? Get you butt home now!!

Time for the dogs. Won't turn the lights off just yet as it's Friday and someone will turn up, no doubt.

Big Al - 26 Nov 2004 22:33 - 19604 of 23498

I know, poor excuse again, but the day will come. Can't envisage much stopping me next year.

;-))

Spaceman - 26 Nov 2004 22:50 - 19605 of 23498

Hello again, just back from an meal out with some friends, what's all this talk about retirement? don't you have to work to retire? I am a kept man, girlfriend does the work I spend the money, well that's what she says but she is wrong.

Now then Al I am not old enough to be a true hippy, although I do remember (just) a very stoned weekend at Glastonbury a while ago, and then there was the very stoned weekend at Old Buckenham and then there was the very stoned weekend at Barnes come to think of it most of the second half of the seventies was very stoned. Of course I have grown up now !

Spaceman - 26 Nov 2004 23:03 - 19606 of 23498

Right I am going down to the coffee house for a while, I will probably fall asleep in my favourite armchair, would some kind person please wake me up in the morning? preferably with some porridge with golden syrup and a nice cup of tea? Thanks,

Fundamentalist - 27 Nov 2004 05:04 - 19607 of 23498

Evening all

Long day at scrips betfair course - what a great day - and then an even longer evening - popped to see my neighbour to see if he fancied a quick pint and just got home!!! not quite sure where 8 hrs went - see you all bright and early - NOT!!!!!!!!

little willie - 27 Nov 2004 08:06 - 19608 of 23498

I'm old enough to have been a hippy and pretty well was as per Spaceys 2nd para 19604 circa 60's.
Woke up in some wonderful gaffs, met some great people, played some blinding gigs, all in all not a bad life and then I grew up as well...sort of...lol..

Sounds like Fundy's still doing it, power to the elbow..

Off to watch a Pro golf tourney up the road at Arrabella Course for the Nelson Mandella Golf Challenge, all the big Europeans are playing and there won't be more than a couple of hundred spectators so we can get really close to the action.

Socrates - 27 Nov 2004 09:23 - 19609 of 23498

Good morning all, just woken up in the cosy chair again. Dozed through all last evening's chat. It's been a stressful week, that's my excuse. I'm off out for a while, see you all later.

little willie - 27 Nov 2004 10:09 - 19610 of 23498

Morning Socs, enjoy your stroll and none of that trolley grand prix or little Bernie, king of F1`will be looking to you for a handout to increase the zillions he's ripped off from the sport [?].

All quiet in the caff so I've cleaned up the place and removed a few inches of grime that had built up around a certain dogsbasket that was several layers deep in beer cans.
Blimey dawg, get a grip and use a deoderant.

Decided against the golf today as I want to watch the rugger, will go to golf tommorrow.
Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!!

chocolat - 27 Nov 2004 14:00 - 19611 of 23498

G'dafternoon all!
What are you going to do about that pesky peterwhitmarsh, jeffie?

Big Al - 27 Nov 2004 16:23 - 19612 of 23498

Afternoon!

Blimey, Spaceman. It apears your 70's went the same way as mine. Must admit much of the 80's somehow disappeared too. Admire your style too Fundie - I can't do that now. You'd have thought it would be a doddle after the practice I've had!

:-))

chocolat - 27 Nov 2004 16:33 - 19613 of 23498

Hi BigA - just getting ready to do the same thing... ;)

Fundamentalist - 27 Nov 2004 17:01 - 19614 of 23498
