new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

Andy

'Cross contamination of samples' sounds a bit esoteric. Heaven's sake, we are talking about earth movers which don't get disinfected! However it does seem to make sense to get production really under way first: just a matter of focusing attention. Don't see anything on the website to clarify the situation. May need patience if production can't get under way properly until April/May, although there should be time for some real production by end June, including the proving of the prospect, as they have to do. Its tuck them away for a few months I think. Cash seems OK. Yeah! Was a great meal at The Place, Camber Sands: thought I would change from Dover Sole, so had...Dover Sole! Can't resist them! Wife liked the flowers too though not quite up to Di's orchids!

NML is on the move this morning for the first time in ages. The sells at 5p are actually buys which is why the price has moved up. Perhaps the rain has stopped ;-)

Aldwick I did think about it the other day but I couldn't find your post on how to do it! Chaos reigned last week as it was half term. Now I have a backlog of painting sales and new artists for my art website. So busy busy.
It would be great if NML get going on the mine then just watch this share fly!!

What would the price of NML have to be for it to have a market cap of 10 mill, as IGindex now deal in 10 mill companys if you phone them, it could get a lot more volume and maybe a smaller spread if investers could trade them with bets and cfd's.

You lot are missing all the action on ULT, go on go and have a look.

Dynamite - 28 Feb 2005 13:54 - 205 of 1909

Apparently it is sunny in Angola at the mo. Something is up...I thought I would buy a few more shares.Imposssible on line and my broker could only get 3000 shares from each market maker to get 1100 worth of shares. Hmmmmmmmmmm Interesting!

stockdog - 28 Feb 2005 14:23 - 206 of 1909

I can get a quote on line for 15000 at 5.44 below mid price on Self Trade - why the exagerated spread 4.75 - 6.25?

Couldn't get quote for 50000.

Dynamite - 28 Feb 2005 14:34 - 207 of 1909

SD I'm with Selftrade too but although I could get a quote they couldn't fill it. I had to ring to get it filled bought 20000 at 5.5p...I've a feeling this could be a bargain shortly. I already have some at 5p

The market makers are only selling a few shares each so any order has to be made up from the different MM's.

Amities/ Without wishing to sound offensive its difficult to even be remotely kind about this stock: or comprehend ones conviction as to its merits which led them to initially buy it . Considering the farcical contraversy last year in which the AGM had to be relocated following menacing threats to its Finance director in which the FBI were involved, im surprised Aldwick at your rather cavalier style of investment..Far be it for me to suggest the company is no more than a finacial conduit to the backpocket of the directors. For i am sure they are honourable men .Are they not.? But in NML i see a rapidly unfurling saga of unforessen delays and rapidly dwindling monies; and ultimate bankruptcy. .This time last year i was assured by management at one of thier presentations they would be in production by now .And profitable not long after. All twaddle.Almost fell asleep listening. The most unfair thing was that River diamonds came in the same day and really bored us all mindless. Unlike the FDI business model which i personally regard as the best mining outfit on AIM and whom use sale of industrial alluvial diamonds with which to finance their high cost /high returns exploration ,NML have dived right in ,and in my opinion rely now purely on luck .l think thier statement of diamonds a metere below ground was enough for me !!! Duuuuh i wonder how AAL via DE Beers or BHP , or RIO missed that. Albeit thre are some real genuine smallcap mining gems listed on AIM such as FDI , ZOX, AFE,KMR and GFM and even microcaps like MANA and GIP ,AIM is rapidly becoming becoming a dustbin for mining companies such as this genuine grade 1 piece of utter nonsense.lt is areal stinker !.Like Caligula declaring war on Neptune to rob him of sea shells. And everything about this outfit reads like "Now once upon a time,,,,,,,,= storyline like something from the "magic roundabout" ( thats French too ) .. ...Belive me; At best- you will be sitting here this time next year looking at the same spread as i this time last year ago when i began tracking them : and thats about as good as it gets.. The spread is ALWAYS exxagerated. lts called a "lock in" spread .And there is NEVER relaxation, or give,in the spread.lt is rigid in its application . . lf mms have changed policy it is new to me . MMS do little to make a market .Once your in -YOUR in for good, The business model is utterly flawed; it is a seriously ill planned and ill equipped venture, underfinanced and without exccessible towns/ villages to provide available labour . And what of spare parts ? . And what of infrastructure such as roads which to lug mining equipment hundreds of miles into the interiior of a country which spent decades locked in civil war and still reknowned for political volatility. To my mind quite deserving of the acollade as being second only to the Congo in the madness that is the vast part of this continenet called Africa. Not a place you would find me holidaying.-lnfrastructure >?? well beyond the coffers of NML. ln addition now their j/v with TYM has been terminated my interest in NML was complete , i am totally clueless as why anyone would want to hold this stock . A more underirable self serving board one could possibbly have the misfortune to have serve thier interests; and i prefer watching paint dry ,,,,a'bientot, faires attention, bien amicalement.Amusez-vous bien et bonne chance tojours. ...tchin -tchin...@+ J

Well I think that told em, "tfc". You will all have to go to http://www.ultrasis.co.uk (ULT) for a bit of stress treatment after that.

Dynamite - 28 Feb 2005 18:12 - 213 of 1909

TFC...I had respect for your posts but not after this post which is full of crap.

NML is 45Km of Saurimo which has daily flights to the capital of Angola. NML's mining area C9 is down stream of Catoa diamond mine. They manage to produce 3 million carats of rough diamonds a year and account for 65 percent of the Southern African country's production. Funny how Catoa diamond mine manage to get parts and labour and mine diamonds in this area that you say is 'without exccessible towns/ villages to provide available labour . And what of spare parts ? . And what of infrastructure such as roads which to lug mining equipment hundreds of miles into the interiior of a country you wouldnt find me holidaying.' Crap TFC...go back to what you are good at.... ramping SEO because you have 500000 shares in it. For some reason you have sour grapes over NML, probably cos' you have lost money on it before. Well we have all done that on a share but we don't spout rubbish about it.
