Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Hope your right Fundy, and lucky you buying at 10p. Hopefully my trading has improved since i started 18 months ago (buying at the top ha ha!) but yes my trouble is i dont hold on for long enough. MDW at 2p sold at 3p. Now 9.5p :>(

Was slightly worried 30 mins ago, Large volums sales but since then has been more than ballanced by a large buy.

no i dont day trade - cant place enough faith in charts !!! My strength is reading balance sheets and analysing the financial strength of the company so the majority of my activity is long term (at least 1 yr usually a lot longer).

"Macy's deal for Retail Decisions" - first time I've seen RTD on the moneyam first page in the "Major News" section !

RTD is rapidly becoming a share for more serious investors rather than "penny punters". I noticed the shorters were out in force on other boards last night with their usual doom and gloom stories - I had to chuckle when I saw the great news this morning.

Check out the size of this customer - they're massive and they only have glowing words to say about RTD - bodes very well for the future.

With top notch results from last year to come, cracking deals like this one to take RTD into 2005 with gusto and TM100 inclusion at some point soon, I can see more institutions getting interested.

I think Manzarek has just hit on a good point over there:

"One of the interesting things about the Macys deal imo is that they were using their own inhouse system which clearly wasn't up to par and was presumably quite a cost.

I suspect this condition probably exists amongst a lot of the blue chips who will have their own IT depts and legacy systems which were utilised as there internet ventures started.

Prestigious deals like this and the Travelocity one should open a lot more doors for red into those blue chips.

The other recent development seems to me to be that web commerce is reaching a critical mass, if you like , at both the value level and the technical volume level.

This means that not only are these inhouse systems not up to the job but that the amount of retailing that has migrated to the web now justifies suitable investment by these companies.

Those traditional retailers who had a "token" web operation and are now losing out on the high street may be forced to rethink. Even if this is all bo***s still good news imo."

I agree totally - its also a nice one on the cv - "if its good enough for macys/bloomingdales then its good enough for us" may well be heard in a few boardrooms in the near future

I expect that we will see further news of more contracts signed over the comming weeks. Don't forget the smaller contracts will not be seen until results are released and they will also add up significantly.

Fred how I wish I could....I have been fully commited here for over a year, in fact I sold 50.000 at 11p 10% profit 'cos I thought I had too big a % of my capital in one place. ( I put it in CYH now in red to tune of 57% :-/) thats why I nip my bum so tight when it looks like it may go back lower.

Funny volumes of B to sells with price going up. Some may be mispresented but not in the proportion showing. Are the MMs after shares again. I hope so.
