Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Hubble achieves deepest view yet
Hubble astronomers have observed deeper into space than ever before.
In doing so, they have identified six new galaxies of stars that formed just a few hundred million years after the Big Bang itself.
The study also updates a distance estimate for a seventh galaxy, placing it further back in time than any object previously identified.
Called UDFj-39546284, this is seen when the cosmos was less than 3% of its current age.

More likely she was unbalanced anyway
Wow we agree on something. Can't believe anyone would take their own life for the sake of putting a phone call through.
Why was her husband and kids living in Bristol and she was in London ?

the nurse VAZ said the family were very close and a loverly family
well that can not be correct. if it is correct why did she not turn to them for help.
my grand children would come and see me if they had a problem that they could not sort . until we see the reason for her death killing her self we must take it that she was unbalanced and no one noticed so no one cared enough.

Tinker.
You have a very simplistic view of life and even more simplistic interpretation of it!
======
Unfortunately, because of the materialistic world we live in, some are prepared to work at distances from their family.
They may be "closer" and "love" each other more than some sharing the same bed.

Obviously Tanker the lady had problems, depression is in a lot of cases hard to detect. The poor woman had a responsible job and may be she felt she may not continue to hold her position if depression had been diagnosed. People with depression sometimes do not tell anybody how they are feeling and try to sort it out in their own heads - many women committed suicide when I was a child - probably due to the change of life, which nobody recognised then!!! No matter what, it isn't going to bring her back and the poor children are now left without a Mum, they have to live without her for the rest of their lives. An extremely sad situation. My heart goes out to them and what the poor lady must have been thinking (or not thinking) when she took her own life away.

3 I agree with your post what i have posted is till we no the facts we no nothing of why she did it ,but two young foolish people are being blamed who may have had nothing to do with it .
she must of had bigger problems and until the notes are public we will not know .
yet the press have found them quilty .
in my view the police have been stopped by some one from giving the facts
which is not good the lady is dead and left notes to say why yet no one knows why yet the two in aussie are being driven to do the same .
that would be terrible

The nurse found dead following a hoax call to the hospital treating the Duchess of Cambridge criticised senior colleagues over her treatment in one of three suicide notes, it has emerged.
An inquest heard that Jacintha Saldanha, 46, left three emotional suicide notes following the prank call by Australian DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian.
But it has emerged today that in one of the notes she has criticised colleagues at the King Edward VII hospital over her treatment following the controversial call.

Tanker,
No.
Her own actions, based on her own view of her own "life" and actions, the "comprehension" her own life and the "choices" she had in the moments before committing suicide.
I agree, if her "positioning" had been recognised by others, they may have been able to intervene and enable her to modify her evaluation and take a different course.
But, that is easily said, but in some cases difficult to do.
There will probably regrets all round.

N,
Multitude of "reasons" for committing suicide.
Sometimes, it would appear a sensible choice.
Depression, or those with a bleak outlook, or expectation would appear more prone to that choice.
Personally, murder springs to my mind more often.

I hope George has Xmas and only the UK is committing suicide:-
"Standard &Poor’s Rating Services Thursday became the third of the big credit-rating agencies to threaten the U.K. with the loss of its prized triple-A credit rating, a more that came hours after Chancellor of the Exchequer said keeping the government’s borrowing costs low is more important than retaining its top rating, S&P, which joined Moody’s Investors Service and Fitch Ratings in placing the U.K.’s government-debt rating on negative outlook, said there was now a one-three chance it will lower its rating in the next two years if the country’s economic performance continues to weaken. S&P’s move comes just after Mr Osborne told lawmakers in parliament’s Treasury Select Committee that although losing the country’s triple-A rating “ wouldn't be a good thing,” it was only one test of sentiment toward the U.K’s economic policy.
