Did you know that mother is the most popular word?

Big Al - 27 Nov 2004 19:24 - 19645 of 23498

Evening!

My guess is we're about the same age, Spacey! Your dates pretty much jive with mine, but I had another go in the mid/late 90's. Might have been some kind of mid-life crisis, but I managed OK. A serious night now means the next day is lost - that never used to happen. ;-)) Strangely enough, a good friend of mine died last weekend probably coz he never gave it up - Rock 'n' Roll!

Very sad to see him go, but we had some amazing times that even Keith Richards would be hard pressed to top. Only good (yet vague) memories and can't be down at his passing - it's the way he lived his life!!

As for last year's Xmas bash, well I blame it on mg. He bought us a bottle of wine each! A few others didn't help either and before you wonder, yes I do remember meeting at the Eye - all too briefly, but it'll happen again.

PS - wish I could still do those 2 bottles of Tequila a day and wake up ready the next morning.

;-)

chocolat - 27 Nov 2004 19:29 - 19646 of 23498

Not to mention my favourite word, "paralipsis". That's a pun by the way.

Socrates - 27 Nov 2004 19:49 - 19649 of 23498

As you can see folks, Socco has returned. Hot foot from the NEC antiques fair. Financially unscathed, fortunately.
