Happy birthday Spacie, hope you haven't spent the day catalogueing.

Hi Big Al, trust you weren't just using a sledge for the job but had the proper pipe affair, still bloody hard work I remember.

No dinnere for us, we lunched out at a 'bush pub'that did a roast pig and a lamb.
Much as you wanted for Rand 65 each [6] including veg & salad with a vast range of white & reds between Rand 22 and 44 [2&4].
Beautiful setting up in the mountains, 30 degrees, not a cloud, swimming pool supplied...unbelievable and excellent.

Maybe half a sandwich with a beer mid evening will be all thats necc.

Big Al - 28 Nov 2004 18:01 - 19713 of 23498

Nice way to spend the day, willie

Just used a sledge with a homemade contraption atop. ;-))

Big Al - 28 Nov 2004 18:03 - 19714 of 23498

Spacey - hope ur having a fine day too!!!! ;-))

Socrates - 28 Nov 2004 18:08 - 19715 of 23498

Big Al
There are people who are paid to drive fence posts into the ground. Why waste the effort?

jeffmack - 28 Nov 2004 18:12 - 19716 of 23498

Fundy wont be happy, DD will be happy

chocolat - 28 Nov 2004 18:24 - 19717 of 23498

Of course Fundie's happy - he didn't have to sleep with the dog last night.

hilary - 28 Nov 2004 19:01 - 19718 of 23498

Jeffie's right ...... Fundy won't be happy. Hilly and her husband and children are happy though.

:o)

This_is_me - 28 Nov 2004 19:36 - 19719 of 23498

Utd up to 4th - only 1 point behind the Goons (counting the tanking they will get on 1st Feb.) How did they let in 2 goals when 'pool have all their strikers injured? They haven't been the same since their last visit to the Theatre of Their Nightmares.

Fundamentalist - 28 Nov 2004 19:46 - 19720 of 23498

Choccie - im afraid your wrong - fundies not happy

DD - fair play - 2 cracking goals - thought a draw was a fair result - enjoy your celebrations. Gerrard will be happy - he gave himslef even more chance of a premiership medal (when he moves to chelsea)

Hils - you must be even happier - we'll have no central midfield for the match against you - edu/silva injured and viera suspended

TIM - liverpool scored two cracking goals - united still arent in the title race - looking forward to the kids winning the pizza battle on wednesday

Jeff -did you get my email?

chocolat - 28 Nov 2004 19:50 - 19721 of 23498

Sorry, Fundie :(
Maybe it's time you supported one of your local teams..
I'm happy. :))

Still reckon a warm bed wins hands down..

Fundamentalist - 28 Nov 2004 19:52 - 19722 of 23498

Choccie - until 2 yrs ago they were my local team - and there isnt any team local to where i am that i would want to support!!!!!!!!!!!!

your right on the bed front!

chocolat - 28 Nov 2004 19:56 - 19723 of 23498

Huh, Fundie!
At least Man City are a hoot. :)

Hi Choccy and I know whose birthday it is and he better be Mr Happy today :>)

Nice newspaper article yesterday, "Women are programmed by their genes to be unfaithful". Ummmmm

amberjane - 28 Nov 2004 21:16 - 19730 of 23498

Now, seriously I need help (well that kind as well) but for now can we stick to the subject: Christmas!

Normally we disappear to warmer climates and have a stress free Christmas. Not this year, nice quite one at home. NO. As some of the family are off to America for 3 weeks, I offered yesterday to do a family get together next Saturday. During the course of the day and several phone calls later I'm doing Christmas day, turkey the works, this coming Saturday......HELP!

On the belief that i will not be able to bribe StockBunny to pop over I seriously need help, so recipes, tips etc anything. For those that follow this thread(ha ha) you'll know why but i just dont cook anymore let alone for 17!!!
