driver - look at the chart post the 11th Feb closing high of 17p mid price.

Each successive wave has reached a lesser peak or trough. If you draw the two lines touching a) the troughs on 17th and 28th Feb and b) the peaks on 17th Feb and 1st March (or should it be those on 21st Feb and 1st March?) - you get a converging triangle.

Typically after this period of reducing oscillation you get a break out either below or, in this case, above the two lines indicating a likely further decisive move in the same direction - which is what we want. Or am I reading too much into our two successive closes a tad above the upper line?

Being a fundie rather than a techie, I may, of course, be barking!

It was suppose to be a joke a week ago we spent all afternoon talking about these stupid Triangles, it ended up with me saying "Triangles What Triangles" and that was the end of it till you brought it up again.

You know me - no sense of fun at all (or memory, so it seems!) - HOL :))

trust stockdog to be cocking his leg up the wrong tree, or the one that everyone else visited a week ago. bol! I think it was Seine who had the last word then when he suggested that it was a flag rather than a triangle; the top of the flag is 17p which has been visited twice on an intra-day basis. It essentially shows a time while the sp pauses for breath before continuing its upward trend. NLR is a good example of this recently. Opportunity to top up; even Marcus has done that! Doesn't seem any particular reason why it should do anything much before the ASDA announcement; but that is as sure fire a certainty as anything in this game!

Apologies to driver for maligning him as such a cautious animal; after all we have concurred before with our projections.

stockdog - 08 Mar 2005 18:39 - 1982 of 27111

Well, Eric, it was a tree I had previously "contributed" to, so I thought - no one looking, here we go . . . show the flag (or triangle if you prefer).

Two large sells of 250k and 400k going through at closing time. Any more to come, or is that them out of the way now?

I'm with bos and the big yawn - everything is looking a bit peaky today. Oh for some spare cash - it's like walking in puddles when it's raining!

what a dull day.got bored so i decided it was time for a new phone, having had the same one for nearly 5 years. so i got one. very cool. busy learning what the buttons do on my new toy now. (the men will understand). also sold gmc for small profit and bought moi. been watching moi for a while and i thought it would be a good time to get in now before the results at end of this month.

EWRobson - 08 Mar 2005 18:59 - 1985 of 27111

Presumably you created the puddles in the first place! bol! You left poor old zscooge speechless! Now, what did he intend to say? Is he in a state of triangulation or is he just flagging? rofl!

zscrooge - 08 Mar 2005 19:38 - 1986 of 27111
