These are indeed trying times, and possibly the darkest hour.....who knows?!

IF they are finalising a couple of contracts, and IF the contracts are for say a minimum of 60,000 tonnes pa. of Starpol, there should be a step-change in the SP as they should be able to put some meat on the bone in the ensuing RNSs.

It has taken at least 9 months to get to the stage of signing a couple of contracts for the MMPs, so in the grand scheme of things I don't believe it has been totally cocked up, but the management has shown itself to be somewhat green, but so have some investors.

IF SEO survives the next 4 weeks, it should go on to deliver on its promises.

Don't worry about a rights issue not being taken up, Thatwittalan and the lemmings who follow him will buy them.

It may come as a shock to you, but some people, not you obviously, have a mind of their own. It may also come as a shock to you that some people can read the simple phrase "I would not recommend anyone to buy into these" that I have put on many posts.

I think it is now safe to say that the mysterious post close trades we have seen for the last 3 days is someone selling off. The share price movement makes me fairly certain of that, in my own mind, but what do other (sober) posters think?

Nothing has changed, but every day we get closer to the finance call but as well the contracts that we know "are being finalised" and other positive targets. Being long for a long time and never been scared by the trader mentality. When the traders knock the price down I see that as a buying opportunity. I know the traders had big margins on seo so far because of the uncertainty wich surrounds seo`s negotiations. I`m confident pretty soon that uncertainty will be all cleared off.

Alan. Couldn't agree more. Non holders just knocking for fun. What mentality would cause someone to visit a share thread that they don't hold? It amazes me. I think the imminent contracts will follow the official green light for Starpol 300, then things will move very quickly.

Either that or the Board are a gang of crooks who are risking a prison sentence.

Seems unlikely.

Our system posted a SELL CONFIRMED today. The previous BUY recommendation was made on 11.09.2006 (2) days ago, when the stock price was 3.6500. Since then SEO has fallen -4.66% .

SELL-IF is confirmed by a black candlestick with a higher open and a lower close. The selling price is taken as the previous close ( 3.6500 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bearish pattern leading to the SELL-IF signal is confirmed today. The market is poised for bearish action. Though the market opened higher today, the days activity created a black candlestick that closed below the previous close. This is one of our valid bearish confirmation criteria.

The slight failure of the previous BUY signal is currently confirmed, too. We closely monitor the performance of the signals, but a few shots missing the target slightly are inevitable when you deal with the stock market. However, such signal failures are more unlikely for higher rated stocks.

I stopped looking at British Bulls a long time ago - automated, no human input, rubbish.

I'll stick my neck out and say the SP will close slightly higher than it opens today.

Supermarkets 'not green enough'

Tesco is introducing biodegradable carrier bags
Supermarkets are not doing enough to help all their customers make environmentally-friendly choices, a consumer group has warned.
The National Consumer Council (NCC) is calling on the UK's eight leading supermarket chains to do more to cut waste and source more food locally.

They should also set targets to have 100% recycled packaging, it says.

None of the companies did well in the group's report though Morrisons and Somerfield got the lowest ratings.

Waitrose was the best performer in the survey, done by the Food Commission, which visited two branches of each store - one in the north east and one in the south east of England.

However it was found to stock organic strawberries which had been flown from New Zealand.

Last week Sainsbury's announced 500 of its 10,000 own-brand products now has compostable packaging, while Tesco is introducing biodegradable bags and rewarding customers for bringing their own reusuable bags and boxes.

The NCC report acknowledged supermarkets' efforts to improve their approach to green issues.

But it urged them to make environmentally-friendly options the norm for all shoppers, rather than simply the more ecologically aware.

"We all need to understand that food is the typical household's number one contributor to climate change," NCC chairman Lord Whitty said.

"By throwing away ten billion carrier bags each year and transporting carrots from Egypt and strawberries from New Zealand, we hit the environment hard."

Morrisons said it was making progress in areas covered by the report and said it recognised the challenge it faced.

"We intend maintaining our momentum through our programme of continuous improvement," a spokesman said.
