Morning all, its dark in Sevenoaks ;-)

Last night it was very very very dark as we had a power cut that lasted for several hours, the power went off at 1830 and was still off when I fell asleep at about 2130 not sure when it came back but its the first time I have know a power cut to last so long for many years. We went into town for a meal and part of the town centre also had no power, there seemed to be several small areas with no power but the rest of the town was OK... Very strange...

KEAYDIAN - 31 Jan 2008 08:17 - 19828 of 24230

Morning all, sounds like it was quiet dark down there then Spacie.

jeffmack - 31 Jan 2008 08:20 - 19829 of 24230

You needed fork handles

Socrates - 31 Jan 2008 08:24 - 19830 of 24230

Good morning all. That pork roast was delicious, Bunny.

We are used to power cuts here, we have one or two every year due to a very poor quality cable on our development. We have loads of candles and a box of matches handy at all times. Can last anything up to twelve hours at a stretch.

More tea vicar?

stockbunny - 31 Jan 2008 08:25 - 19831 of 24230

Morning all - great start to the day...my usual ISP - really reliable 9 time out of 10 - appears to be knackered this morning and no stockwatch - LOL

I need TEA!!!

KEAYDIAN - 31 Jan 2008 08:26 - 19832 of 24230

I need tea also.

stockbunny - 31 Jan 2008 08:37 - 19833 of 24230

KEAYDIAN - 31 Jan 2008 08:43 - 19834 of 24230

It was cold last night and it was dark in Sevenoaks from what I've heard.
