Our system posted a SELL CONFIRMED today. The previous BUY recommendation was made on 11.09.2006 (2) days ago, when the stock price was 3.6500. Since then SEO has fallen -4.66% .

SELL-IF is confirmed by a black candlestick with a higher open and a lower close. The selling price is taken as the previous close ( 3.6500 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bearish pattern leading to the SELL-IF signal is confirmed today. The market is poised for bearish action. Though the market opened higher today, the days activity created a black candlestick that closed below the previous close. This is one of our valid bearish confirmation criteria.

The slight failure of the previous BUY signal is currently confirmed, too. We closely monitor the performance of the signals, but a few shots missing the target slightly are inevitable when you deal with the stock market. However, such signal failures are more unlikely for higher rated stocks.

We hope that you sold this stock . Probably you realized a small loss but it is better to cut the losses short. Your important benchmark today was the previous close. You were supposed to watch the session carefully, feel its bearish tendency despite the higher opening and sell your shares after making sure that the prices stay below the previous close.

If you sold, keep away from this stock until the confirmation of a new BUY-IF signal unless there is not an emergency warning. What to do if you did not already sell? I stopped looking at British Bulls a long time ago - automated, no human input, rubbish.

I'll stick my neck out and say the SP will close slightly higher than it opens today.

Supermarkets 'not green enough'

Tesco is introducing biodegradable carrier bags
Supermarkets are not doing enough to help all their customers make environmentally-friendly choices, a consumer group has warned.
The National Consumer Council (NCC) is calling on the UK's eight leading supermarket chains to do more to cut waste and source more food locally.

They should also set targets to have 100% recycled packaging, it says.

None of the companies did well in the group's report though Morrisons and Somerfield got the lowest ratings.

Waitrose was the best performer in the survey, done by the Food Commission, which visited two branches of each store - one in the north east and one in the south east of England.

However it was found to stock organic strawberries which had been flown from New Zealand.

Last week Sainsbury's announced 500 of its 10,000 own-brand products now has compostable packaging, while Tesco is introducing biodegradable bags and rewarding customers for bringing their own reusuable bags and boxes.

The NCC report acknowledged supermarkets' efforts to improve their approach to green issues.

But it urged them to make environmentally-friendly options the norm for all shoppers, rather than simply the more ecologically aware.

"We all need to understand that food is the typical household's number one contributor to climate change," NCC chairman Lord Whitty said.

"By throwing away ten billion carrier bags each year and transporting carrots from Egypt and strawberries from New Zealand, we hit the environment hard."

Morrisons said it was making progress in areas covered by the report and said it recognised the challenge it faced.

"We intend maintaining our momentum through our programme of continuous improvement," a spokesman said.

i must say that my confidence is slowly ebbing away with this SEO,you read all the time how super/markets must go greener with their packaging, SEO are meant to have the awnser, sales= 0, wrap 100 great for fast food, sales=0.

For the record, some of us like to talk about shares we don't hold because we wish to contribute constructively to the discussion - which for me is half the fun of using the BB. Personally, I welcome non-holders and contrary views on any thread I create, as it helps me better to weigh up the pros and cons of a potential investment.

I realise, however, that some people just use the thread to abuse others and I think we're all agreed that we can do without that.

SEO assuredly do not hold the monopoly in this filed and with the best will in the world, there can be no contract until all SEO's basic fundamentals are in place, and as i understand it from the others, they are NOT

cynic your name does you proud- glad you are not a family member.......However SEO can not state that 2 contracts are being finalised without foundation. My mere observation was that the media are now scrutinizing the supermarkets a.o. to get a grip on green issues.

they have been for ages, or at least so long as it does not impact their profits ...... as is well published, i do not hold this stock (thank goodness) .... i follow SEO, for no reason other than amusement at the huge volume of traffic etc on this thread, but i do not recollect anyone commenting that SEO have said anything about "2 contracts are being finalised" ..... if that were the case, it would be hard to believe that sp would be continuing its seemingly inexorably journey south

Impact on profits is the key. For the last couple of decades green issues have been very expensive to address. While SEO hold no monopoly, their great strength is that they can provide a solution which, if they are to be believed, is actually cheaper to run (GS) as it reduces power usage, wastage, returns etc.etc.
Other green solutions that I am aware of are actually more expensive than traditional methods.

so keep buying then as i am sure you are ..... and if this RNS is so positive as you imply it is, perhaps you have a logical answer as to why the sp has not changed direction or even consolidated? ..... lots of fat fingers pressing "sell" instead of "buy" perhaps?

Regarding contracts, Trading statement dated 8 September said the following:

"Further to the trading update on 17 August 2006, the Company is continuing to
negotiate with the two parties with which it signed letters of intent to
compound Starpol resin for the US market, and contracts are in the process of
being finalised."

I am aware that members of the senior managment team are, and have been for a little while, in the US. But, please carry on bashing so that the sp keeps going down. Then I can top up and make even more of a killing when all the contracts regarding Greenseal and Starpol 3000 are announced.
