With the green issue now snowballing surely signing of contracts HAS TO BE around the corner

soul traders - your contributions are always constructive, sahreholder or not - its the 'told you so, they're going bust, you're stupid to still be holding' mentality of some non-shareholding contributors that is hard to understand and irritating.
aldwickk - apologies, typo. Meant to type 'oldtwit'.

robinhood ..... sorry to say that your comment is mere rationalisation and wishful thinking ...... SEO assuredly do not hold the monopoly in this filed and with the best will in the world, there can be no contract until all SEO's basic fundamentals are in place, and as i understand it from the others, they are NOT

cynic your name does you proud- glad you are not a family member.......However SEO can not state that 2 contracts are being finalised without foundation. My mere observation was that the media are now scrutinizing the supermarkets a.o. to get a grip on green issues.

they have been for ages, or at least so long as it does not impact their profits ...... as is well published, i do not hold this stock (thank goodness) .... i follow SEO, for no reason other than amusement at the huge volume of traffic etc on this thread, but i do not recollect anyone commenting that SEO have said anything about "2 contracts are being finalised" ..... if that were the case, it would be hard to believe that sp would be continuing its seemingly inexorably journey south

Impact on profits is the key. For the last couple of decades green issues have been very expensive to address. While SEO hold no monopoly, their great strength is that they can provide a solution which, if they are to be believed, is actually cheaper to run (GS) as it reduces power usage, wastage, returns etc.etc.
Other green solutions that I am aware of are actually more expensive than traditional methods.

Cynic,
You're a waste of space.....please stop posting as you're certainly not adding value.
Read the last RNS "trading Update" and reflect.

so keep buying then as i am sure you are ..... and if this RNS is so positive as you imply it is, perhaps you have a logical answer as to why the sp has not changed direction or even consolidated? ..... lots of fat fingers pressing "sell" instead of "buy" perhaps?

Regarding contracts, Trading statement dated 8 September said the following:
"Further to the trading update on 17 August 2006, the Company is continuing to
negotiate with the two parties with which it signed letters of intent to
compound Starpol resin for the US market, and contracts are in the process of
being finalised."
I am aware that members of the senior managment team are, and have been for a little while, in the US. But, please carry on bashing so that the sp keeps going down. Then I can top up and make even more of a killing when all the contracts regarding Greenseal and Starpol 3000 are announced.
Kind regards

sp worries me not at all, though if there was more headroom (footroom?) i would certainly have been inclined to short ...... as for where sp heads now, i am personally uninterested, though i guess for you guys, i would be delighted if you could all throw rotten eggs at me as the price rockets to 10p overnight

If the price rocketed overnight to 10p, it wouldn't be rotten eggs it would be top of the range organic free-range eggs that have been packaged in frogpack. Ho ho.

Cynic stop acting like such a thick bastard and read the last RNS that garyble refers to.
Its one thing to sometimes make the wrong investment decisions as I claimed yesterday that I think I have done with SEO but it is a much sadder issue that you hang around BBs all day to purely taunt people whilst adding absolutely nothing to the discussion. Get a life!

For automatic,
At present it is wishful thinking, but based on my own research.
I know that contracts with two parties are being finalised regarding Starpol because of the trading statement. If that were untrue then the FSA would get involved because it would lead to criminal proceedings.
I know that ADSA are going to be selling, on a wide scale, their salad products RF sealed by the beginning of 2007 because they stated that in a recent edition of Packaging News. There is only one company who can provide RF sealing.
Hence, whilst I am thinking wishfully I am feeling confident, based on the above, that things will happen, hopefully on a grander scale than I'm imagining.
Kind regards

Until this company goes bust, the potential is there.
As yet it has'nt gone bust. there are no certainties in life other than death and chavs wearing hoods screwing your car on the one occasion you leave it unlocked.
As it's my money ,I invest , I think over the years i've made a pretty penny. When so called experts (RHPS) were selling certain shares, I held on and got my XXX baggers. There was the same crap floating about then as there is now about this share. It was ramped tooo far by a certain individual (who now does'nt dare predict an SP of 25)-. though it would be nice
I'm in for the long haul (which I don't see far off) . If it folds, such is life. If it makes money, well thats just great.
If anyone caught the progam on C4 about the economist who told a few home truths -there was an interesting bit about share traders, pundits, experts etc. Basically they could'nt predict snow in the arctic, let alone beat the odds.
YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY AND TAKES YOUR CHANCE.
Listen to everyone , believe nothing, DYOR. slow and steady, the next couple of months will decide.
Good look to all the riders.

Buys outnumbering sells again today, with a big after hours buy. I'd guess more buys than sells over the last few weeks. Not what the knockers would have you believe.
rmhyams, Best amend your last post - unless you really do mean (lol)
