If the price rocketed overnight to 10p, it wouldn't be rotten eggs it would be top of the range organic free-range eggs that have been packaged in frogpack. Ho ho.

Kind regards

Cynic stop acting like such a thick bastard and read the last RNS that garyble refers to.

Its one thing to sometimes make the wrong investment decisions as I claimed yesterday that I think I have done with SEO but it is a much sadder issue that you hang around BBs all day to purely taunt people whilst adding absolutely nothing to the discussion. Get a life!

cynic - 14 Sep 2006 15:09 - 19841 of 27111

it's because you guys keep biting, though for all that, no one has had anything to say as to why, if this RNS is such good news, has sp continued south

rmhyams - 14 Sep 2006 15:16 - 19842 of 27111

For automatic,

At present it is wishful thinking, but based on my own research.

I know that contracts with two parties are being finalised regarding Starpol because of the trading statement. If that were untrue then the FSA would get involved because it would lead to criminal proceedings.

I know that ADSA are going to be selling, on a wide scale, their salad products RF sealed by the beginning of 2007 because they stated that in a recent edition of Packaging News. There is only one company who can provide RF sealing.

Hence, whilst I am thinking wishfully I am feeling confident, based on the above, that things will happen, hopefully on a grander scale than I'm imagining.

Kind regards

Until this company goes bust, the potential is there.
As yet it has'nt gone bust. there are no certainties in life other than death and chavs wearing hoods screwing your car on the one occasion you leave it unlocked.
As it's my money ,I invest , I think over the years i've made a pretty penny. When so called experts (RHPS) were selling certain shares, I held on and got my XXX baggers. There was the same crap floating about then as there is now about this share. It was ramped tooo far by a certain individual (who now does'nt dare predict an SP of 25)-. though it would be nice
I'm in for the long haul (which I don't see far off) . If it folds, such is life. If it makes money, well thats just great.
If anyone caught the progam on C4 about the economist who told a few home truths -there was an interesting bit about share traders, pundits, experts etc. Basically they could'nt predict snow in the arctic, let alone beat the odds.
YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY AND TAKES YOUR CHANCE.
Listen to everyone , believe nothing, DYOR. slow and steady, the next couple of months will decide.
Good look to all the riders.

Buys outnumbering sells again today, with a big after hours buy. I'd guess more buys than sells over the last few weeks. Not what the knockers would have you believe.

rmhyams, Best amend your last post - unless you really do mean (lol)

hewittalan6 - 14 Sep 2006 17:24 - 19845 of 27111

Gotta agree with Tweenie on that one.
Alan

cynic - 14 Sep 2006 17:29 - 19846 of 27111

without being silly, don't forget that buys can also be peeps closing shorts to crystalise their profits

hewittalan6 - 14 Sep 2006 17:31 - 19847 of 27111

For those out there better informed than I (and there are plenty of them), have I put the cart before the horse?
I know very little about the position with Starpol, but am a little frustrated with the lack of trumpet fanfares etc. to herald the arrival of Greenseal.
Is it possible that Asda are awaiting being able to rely on sufficient Starpol for their Greensealing before they make any announcement or launch of the packaging, and therefore are awaiting the mmu contracts being signed?
In effect, could the signing of the contracts be the starting pistol?
probably just idle speculation, but i am curious as to what others may think.
Alan

Note for Beavis and Butthead; NOBODY SHOULD BUY THIS SHARE BECAUSE OF ANYTHING I OR ANY ONE ELSE WRITES. DYOR. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY INTO THIS AT THE MOMENT.

garyble - 14 Sep 2006 17:55 - 19848 of 27111

Alan,

The MMP contracts are for USA supply I believe. I'd expect Sphere would be a more likely candidate for UK/European supply of Starpol.

hewittalan6 - 14 Sep 2006 18:03 - 19849 of 27111

Thanks for that garyble

driver - 14 Sep 2006 18:23 - 19850 of 27111

Have to be with Tweenie on that one, I'm sticking in, well until the Euromillions hits 200mil or the company goes bust. Call me what you want I couldn't care.

Paperbackwriter - 14 Sep 2006 22:07 - 19854 of 27111

I'm sticking in too, no matter what.
In for a penny, in for a pound.

Morning all,

Good to hear about the contracts in the works. What spoils the party for me at present is that nothing is known about the fundraising. If more stock is issued, I'd expect that to drag on the SP - unless the contracts are likely to add significantly to revenues in the very short term and the costs of starting production are not too capital intensive, meaning that the likely dilution is limited.

On the fundamentals side, SEO would have to raise revenues considerably to turn the kind of profit needed to justify the current SP - it will be interesting to see how big a step in that direction they take when the contracts are finalised.

It seems to me that the co is waiting to see how the contracts turn out before announcing the fundraising; quite understandable if they feel the contracts will be of sufficient size to bolster the SP.

All IMHO - I continue to watch with interest.

StarFrog - 15 Sep 2006 11:02 - 19857 of 27111

Interesting - I was just reading the last post which was a rather offensive post from one individual (you know who you are) targeted at another individual. Seems to have completely disappeared now. Don't know if the poster removed it (I would hope so) or the MoneyAM team.

Surely, regardless whether you are long, short, or not even an investor in this stock you have the right to say what you want since this is a public access bulletin board. If people take offence to contrary opinions then that is their problem, not the person with the opposing view.

Nuff said.

cynic - 15 Sep 2006 11:04 - 19858 of 27111

concur, though I confess to being a pain myself ..... that said, personal or self abusers can stay on ADVFN!
