Thats what I mean about posting with intent to bait.
I do think SEO will survive and deliver to some degree.........but almost every post I make entreats people not to buy into this because of anything I write, and I also labour to admit the possibility that I am wrong. I do not claim to be as perfect as you and so I always provide for being wrong. having said that, my posts are based on my research (and that of others) rather than just an opportunistic taunt.
If I am wrong, I am ugly enough to admit it and move on. But there again, I have not devoted my time to baiting others. Yet.

Before I start. Please DYOR, don't believe a word i say. It's your money etc

Today, will result in me burning several bridges , but the result is i'm happy to hold.
Did some visiting, saw greenseal being fitted, spoke to Men in suits and no- one other than me was worried about seo's cash position.
I won't be buying more shares as 1. I have no spare cash, 2. I have a very substantial holding already. 3. Still believe money will be made LONG TERM- so have plenty more buying opportunity.

Off Now to dinner with My new best ex-friends.
DYOR-(in the north , the grass is greener)

For those cynics, All i can say is , you might know the price of everything, but you know the value of nothing. Please also see first line.
:-)

Glad to read it tweenie.
Looking ahead. ;-)

Gentlemen,

Having lost a HUGE amount of dosh on Stanelco this year, if I may add: Surely it is now time to call it a day here? Not intended as a sour-grapes deramp but merely an observation as I have watched from a neutral [now!] standpoint and seen the the sp drift lower and lower, week by week, even after I had closed myself. What is the point in holding a stock like this whos management have lead us all astray, have not done what they said they would do and who, if as it now seems, will almost certainly have to raise more funds just to survive for a while longer?

hewittalan6 - 15 Sep 2006 18:34 - 19881 of 27111

markus,
understand the observation clearly, but research that you will not find on this board gives quite a few people confidence that when the sp does move north, it will do so at a hell of a clip, and holding on now at this price is probably better than risk selling and then trying to get back in. Its a case of playing the hand you've got, and if I were in a neutral position, then I would certainly not buy at the moment.
On the subject of a management making promises and then not fulfilling them, perhaps they have had a change of heart as well as a change of management at the redundancy stage. The RNS we have had since then certainly suggest that.
Anyway, keep an eye on this. it may benefit you. But as with any stock in the world, there is always a risk.
regards,
Alan

tweenie

I am intrigued. The visiting you did and the greenseal you saw, was that at Stanelco's office in Southampton?

If so, how on earth did you manage to arrange that. Green with envy!!!

The oily one

markusantonius - 15 Sep 2006 18:41 - 19883 of 27111

OK, Alan. fair point. To be honest, I was half-expecting some abuse back from my post, above!
Anyway, yes it is still on my watch list. Wish you all well, of course.

aldwickk - 15 Sep 2006 18:58 - 19884 of 27111

....Ooohh hasn't the sp dropped

Oilywag - 15 Sep 2006 19:06 - 19885 of 27111

aldwickk

We can all see that. And your point or purpose of your post is ........ ???

The oily one

cynic - 15 Sep 2006 19:12 - 19886 of 27111

thank you Markus .... abuse from me you will not get, and nor for that matter will others who vehemently disagree with me, albeit that they hide behind "DYOR" and similar

aldwickk - 15 Sep 2006 19:20 - 19887 of 27111

For someone to post,

" We can all see that. And your point or purpose of your post is ........ ??? "

Oilywag - 15 Sep 2006 19:24 - 19888 of 27111

Childish!

The oily one

aldwickk - 15 Sep 2006 19:32 - 19889 of 27111

Chill out

oblomov - 15 Sep 2006 20:30 - 19890 of 27111

automatic,

apology accepted, but please get it right in future or dont post. There is so much rubbish being posted with no regard to research - to say its 6 or 7 weeks since SEO stated the contracts were being finalised when its actually 7 days is really unforgiveable from a genuine poster, thats why it seemed to me you had joined the ranks of the nutters who come here to cause trouble.

As far as name calling goes, i dont accept that is what it was - it was merely a description of the way you come over, given the facts surrounding your post.

We're all grown ups here - lets not get over-sensitive to a bit of mildly robust language. I called you a prat - its hardly the same as accusing you of mass murder!

aldwickk - 15 Sep 2006 21:20 - 19891 of 27111

The only nutters here, are the ones holding these shares.

Paperbackwriter - 15 Sep 2006 21:51 - 19892 of 27111

My crystal ball says this will go up very soon.
Have a little faith!

aldwickk - 15 Sep 2006 22:07 - 19893 of 27111

maestro - 15 Sep 2006 22:44 - 19895 of 27111

hewittalan6 - 16 Sep 2006 06:01 - 19896 of 27111

Today is the last day of the cricket season :-((((
Therefore today is the last I will see of my imaginary friend until March, if then :-(((
I will of course seek out any las bits of info that I can, but I suspect he has already told me as much as it is legal to tell, and that he feels morally justifiable. He has been a great source for me while at the same time sticking rigidly to business rules of confidentiality.
All the info I have had from him would have been available to anyone asking the right questions of the right people, and he has told me nothing that could in any way break any rules, but if he has been right all along, I am indebted to him, for saving me a lot of time, if nothing else. I will miss his informed input.
This is a long way of saying that whatever i come up with after today, will not be nearly as reliable, or come from a source so close to the Asda GS project as what has gone before.
Sorry guys.
Alan
PS When the dust has settled, as surely it will, I might even let you know who my imaginary friend is, as he and I have done nothing wrong, but at the moment this board is full of troublemakers, and I have no wish to expose he or I to their infantile rubbish.
