I agree with the sentiment; although I have no experience of "shorting", it strikes me that you should be fairly safe ( er, again.).
Are you locked-into a specific time-frame?

no time frame ..... this is CFD rather than traded option or similar

and so far so good .... if sp does not recover above 400 by close of biz, we could easily see 360 again or even lower

banked a reasonable/modest profit .... if i could make that every day of the year without breaking sweat would be very happy

Blimey cyners Im a long termer but i didnt think you short termers were that short term.

Im about 25 grand up at the moment, but this is one hell of a risky stock with the beta being so high. Doesnt take much either way to make big money or lose money here.

nothing at the moment, but shall contemplate reopening short here, and if i get greedy, perhaps doing same with NRK ..... i closed my position on SOLA because the share was holding very steady indeed which i really did not expect

not being greedy .... just trying to ameliorate the losses on the rest of my portfolio!

steered clear pof NRK today ..... i just feel sp could surge against the grain as profits are booked and/or margins need to be settled elsewhere

for general info, at 365, sp has ducked through 50 dma, the 25 dma having beeen broken some way higher.
If PTH reads this, he may give a more sophisticated chart reading, but I don't see much support before the psychological barrier of 300
