automatic,
apology accepted, but please get it right in future or dont post. There is so much rubbish being posted with no regard to research - to say its 6 or 7 weeks since SEO stated the contracts were being finalised when its actually 7 days is really unforgiveable from a genuine poster, thats why it seemed to me you had joined the ranks of the nutters who come here to cause trouble.
Were II or Bling nutters?

Good news, Great news and some other news
The good news is we won today.
The great news is that means we got promotion to division 2.
The other news is my imaginary friend has confirmed that Asda is definitely on. The decision is made, it is most definitely happening, and on a good scale. No turning back now.
To be fair I had heard this from other places, but to have it confirmed by this particular source is about as good as an RNS. Timescales are still vague, but there is no way he can see it not happening, and as I say, on a big scale. Whether this refers just to GS or Starpol and GS, I do not know. His exact final words were, "Yes. Your packaging company is a certainty for Asda".
As always, DYOR and don't take my word for it, but I am a very happy bunny tonight.

From a very wet and soggy week in Tuscany your post has cheered me up! Not been following this week, just miserable being here on a motorbike in such weather...
Back in 2+ weeks - keep the side up eveyone.
Now, whats happened to CHP in my absence?

Hi Alan,
I hope you are right.
Anyhow, you have made my night!
Everything was looking so glum and it was really depressing.
Thanks for sharing that with us.
A big kiss.

If your imaginary friend is 100% right, and I don't doubt your own personal integrity in reporting the news, then I am really looking forward to the deafening silence from those who were forecasting the imminent demise of SEO.

Tony, I'm in Tuscany myself next week - see what you can do to improve the weather, please!

if i am proven wrong, i shall be more than happy to stand up and take all the flak going ..... if i am right, will oily and his pals act in a similar manner ... or will i and several others be treated to their "deafening silence"?

To balance what i wrote yesterday. Asda was a contract that had been signed and publicised by RNS. My friend simply confirmed that the problems are behind them (though he never specified what they were) and that it really is all systems go, as of now. We already new this, to some degree, so it is not new and if the markets do always get it right, then that is no change to any previous position.
He has no direct link to SEO and so the funding issue was not something I spoke to him about, so no change on that score either. Given his role, I would be astonished if he was not aware of that issue, though.
In essence, all I am reporting is confirmation of what we already know. very shortly, we should see GS salads and fresh produce Greensealed in Asda, with more to come later, and a fairly major hint that WM like what they see.
The really important thing is that we got promotion. That was the real reason for my euphoria yesterday evening, and I am likely to bang on about it all winter.

That's Great news Alan ,
I can tell my boss to 'screw' on Monday ! The reason for this is I went into my local betting shop yesterday morning and put 10000 on your team getting promoted with you making the tea at tea time. They laughed, but eagerly took it on.
Now I couldn't give a toss what happens with SEO and have even made initial contact to help them make payroll this month.

LOL.
I really have put my balls on the chopping block breaking this news, so please, everyone, if you are not in SEO at the moment, DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. Do not rush out and get some SEO just on what I have written. There will be time to get them when it is all confirmed, and you will pay a little bit more, but I would hate it to go wrong and people blame me for it!!!
I am ultra confident on the Asda front, but less so on the finance issue. I defer to those who know these things better than i on that score and it could yet worsen the sp even more before it gets better, so be warned.

Congrats Al on the promotion, did you lose many matches during the season? My team are joint top of our league and need to win against closest rivals next saturday for top spot, that would complete league and cup double.
Great news on Stanelco re Greenseal, many thanks for all your research and info.At present according to CREST over 60M seo shares are on loan to shorters ,not much wonder the SP keeps falling even though buys oustrip sells.Love to see those lot get well and truely burned.
Cheers Gary

60m shares = approx 7% of those issued .... an awful lot of shares, but is it that significant in terms of the whole? .... after all if the price rise by 1p - i.e approx 33% - that is only a technical loss of 600k, and bear in mind that many or even most of those who are short, are quite likely to have done so at a significantly higher price than that pertaining today ..... mind you, the bounce could lead to a squeeze, thus offering a way out for those trapped here, if they have the sense to take it.

cheers cynic.
So 7% of all the shares in a company are insignificant?
Obviously , I'll be selling all my shares in the morning, being a muppet easily led by the insight and opinion offered by others.
Thanks for all your help in making this decision.
God if only everyone on this board was as courageous , open and incisive as you obviously think you are.
I thank you.
:-)
Keep up the good work. PLEASE.
