Congrats Al on the promotion, did you lose many matches during the season? My team are joint top of our league and need to win against closest rivals next saturday for top spot, that would complete league and cup double.
Great news on Stanelco re Greenseal, many thanks for all your research and info.At present according to CREST over 60M seo shares are on loan to shorters ,not much wonder the SP keeps falling even though buys oustrip sells.Love to see those lot get well and truely burned.
Cheers Gary

60m shares = approx 7% of those issued .... an awful lot of shares, but is it that significant in terms of the whole? .... after all if the price rise by 1p - i.e approx 33% - that is only a technical loss of 600k, and bear in mind that many or even most of those who are short, are quite likely to have done so at a significantly higher price than that pertaining today ..... mind you, the bounce could lead to a squeeze, thus offering a way out for those trapped here, if they have the sense to take it.

cheers cynic.
So 7% of all the shares in a company are insignificant?
Obviously , I'll be selling all my shares in the morning, being a muppet easily led by the insight and opinion offered by others.
Thanks for all your help in making this decision.
God if only everyone on this board was as courageous , open and incisive as you obviously think you are.
I thank you.
:-)
Keep up the good work. PLEASE.

I asked the question as to whether 7% was significant, which is not the same as saying 7% is insignificant ...... Turning the question round, would you regard it as significant or of import if 7% of the shares were being held (i.e. had been bought) via cfd or other derivatives?
To put it in some perspective, I think I am right in saying that far greater % (15/20% comes to mind) of VOGs shares are held by derivative traders.
As for my own trading, I wish I had the courage to take my own advice far more often, for assuredly I would be much wealthier.

Hi gary,
lost 3 this season, and tied 1. Was a good season considering we lost our top batsman to a round the world holiday in July and our team contains 2 professional footballers and a football club director, so we don't get them till mid May and lose them at the begining of August!!
Promotion means so much because division 2 contains many professional players, and being in that league will attract quality players to our ranks. looking forward to the challenge.
Hope you put the double to bed on Saturday. Will that mean any promotion or change of leagues for you?
We play Yorkshire Council, which is a pretty good standard. Pretty similar to Heavy Woolen, if you are from that part of the world.
Alan

Should a wise person or institution decide to buy up the 62.7M shares the only ones trapped will be the shorters, with a big packaging forum in the states next week co -hosted by Stanelco and FDA approval for starpol 3000 imminent the fuse burns ever "shorter".

your premise is rather less than unlikely .... next week's packaging forum may be of interest, but not of overall siginificance or relevance .... however, if Alan's info does ultimately prove correct and the receiver does not beat all to the punch and the stock is not decimated by fund raising, then it is not impossible that the bears will be (hard?) squeezed ..... of which i am not one by the way

I just knew it!
Bloody Alan goes and spreads the good news, buys outnumber sells today 7-1 and the share price falls. There's nowt so queer as share prices!
Alan could you please keep any good news to yourself; it appears to be bad for the share price.
Perhaps an RNS by the end of the month.
BTW for those who still ask when Starpol 3000 is due to get FDA approval, according to my research five weeks ago it will be within 7-11 weeks from now.

Oily,
According to your research, when did SEO notify the FDA?

I was not told when they submitted Starpol 3000 to the FDA for approval, but was told five weeks ago that it would take another 12-16 weeks for approval which now means 7-11 weeks.
I do know that there are tests being conducted in the US with food packers using Starpol 3000.

forgive me for going against the stream on this BB, but do you not think your cricket pal could be feeding you a load of old twoddle,( Asda are definitely on, the decision is made,) imo i feel that if this was the case SEO would have put out an RNS pretty dam quick to stop themselves from going under, unless the rumour is true about ASDA and SEO? also if the deal was on again in my opinion SEO would have no trouble in getting money from institutions,
ALAN this is not in anyway having a dig at you, regards
