Anyone got any info as to whats happening to SEO's factory in Wales.Has it been built yet , what are they going to produce etc ???

cynic - 18 Sep 2006 14:15 - 19944 of 27111

if it hasn't been built yet, don't even bet that it will be until the company at least has its future secured

hewittalan6 - 18 Sep 2006 14:30 - 19945 of 27111

No Offence taken, auto.
I always put the caveats in my posts reference any news he gives me, because yes, he could be having a laugh at my expense. I doubt it though, and much of what he has told me has been confirmed by other sources.
Given his position he really should know the state of play as well as anyone in the world, and he usually shys away when asked directly for info he does not feel comfortable about
I doubt SEO would need to RNS the Asda stuff, cos it has been RNS'd many times.
I think the point was more that the final problems had been overcome and rollout was here. SEO are not the same SEO that used to RNS absolutely everything.

waveydavey - 18 Sep 2006 15:00 - 19947 of 27111

hate to say it , but i hoper it does drop until ends of week. then I get paid. hope theres good news from Friday onwards. H6, Tweenie, i'll take your advice and not buy any, but will set funds aside -should there be good news and a run of shorters closing.

PATISEAR - 18 Sep 2006 15:04 - 19948 of 27111

I currently have 10k of SEO @ 3.7ppp average, and have a further 10k to invest.
What price would I need to buy in order to average 3ppp.

automatic - 18 Sep 2006 15:11 - 19949 of 27111

PATISEAR
Don't even think about it, until you see orders 100% genuine orders, IMHO

Oilywag - 18 Sep 2006 15:17 - 19950 of 27111

PATISEAR

10K at 2.5228p per share would give you 396,396 shares added to your existing holding of 270,270 shares makes a total of 666,666 shares for 20k which is 3ppp.

Go back to school and ask for your money back. You was robbed.

The oily one

State school. You get what you don't pay for.
Don't like all them sixes. Scary.

hewittalan6 - 18 Sep 2006 15:40 - 19952 of 27111

waveydavey,
I gotta say it, just for clarity and I know you already know it, but, never take anyones advice on anything to do with shares on a free BB. I think you are wise, but please never do anything because I or anyone else thinks its a good idea. Any of us could be very wrong.
Even as I type about my buddy, the bailiffs could be changing the locks on the SEO head office. Even as Ragtag & Bobtail spout their taunts, Martin Wagner could be shaking hands with the WM president. None of us know - its all a gamble.

PATISEAR, I don't know how much money you have to invest (and you may have just won 150 million in the Euromillions lottery, in which case, feel free to ignore my advice as you can clearly afford to lose 10 grand), but it sounds as if you'd be in danger of concentrating your investments too heavily into one stock if you held 20,000-worth of SEO.

The potential for any share to disappoint investors cannot be overstated, all the more so given that many people thought that SEO was a hot tip at 15p, and it still hasn't stopped sliding!

There are plenty of good stocks out there which could also produce excellent returns, so it's worth biding your time and doing some research.

Sermon over - I wish you the best of success with your stockpicking.

PATISEAR - 18 Sep 2006 16:13 - 19954 of 27111

soul traders
Cheers for Sermon.
I am waiting for Funding News and Shorters dumping.
Got out last year @17pps with profit. Back in again @3.7 av.
All the Best to Holders.

Pati, glad to hear you have done well already. Best of luck with your timing if you decide to get more.

cynic - 18 Sep 2006 16:32 - 19956 of 27111

perhaps you'll pray for his soul!
is there a market for unexpired souls like there is for life (guaranteed death) policies?
